The cottage is located in the most amazing spot my wife and I have stayed in for many years. It's facing Lake Champlain, which is no more than 50 yards or so from the house. An unforgettable vast scenic view. The house has all the amenities you could want, in addition to a kitchen and frig filled with all the kinds of tools, condiments and stuff you usually have to bring or buy, such as Ketchup, half and half, OJ, etc. A very well stocked larder.

What a beautiful location and so very peaceful, it was a wonderful place to just sit and relax. It was everything our family needed. I would definitely recommend the Lake Cottage to anyone.

I had amazing time here in Colchester.. I did a lot of cycling , swimming and exercising... This is a great location... Vermont's weather is ideal and so is this cute quaint cabin right on Mallets Bay... My hosts were just amazing.. the comforts of home were ideal. Many wonderful sounds stimulate your senses.. the sounds of birds singing... frogs and the wind blowing against the trees massages one's ears... I had a delightful time and I definitely would return.. this location is extraordinary !!.. 5 great big stars to " The O'Brien family for hosting me... Unforgettable Mills Point !!... Thank you

Cozy place with large windows overlooking Lake Champlain. From extra comfortable beds to creamer & OJ waiting you in the fridge, the host made a comfortable space to enjoy the Burlington area. Very enjoyable watching the wildlife right out the wind or from the lakeside chairs.

Great location. Susan was accommodating . Cottage was very clean and well stocked.

5 adults rented this property for a long weekend. We fit comfortably using both couches as pull out beds. The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils. Clean. Quiet. Quaint. The outdoor space was lovely. Great communication with the owners. Would definitely use again!

The house is great in a fabulous location. It is peaceful retreat and the host was easy to communicate with.

Beautiful lake front location. We had neighbors but still felt like a private setting. The home was cozy and comfortably furnished. Perfect for us.

As repeat renters, this is the perfect place for a quiet, peaceful getaway. If hanging out is not your thing, it is a short ride to Burlington and a less than an hour drive to Stowe. Take a walk or bike ride on the causeway, where you can access just steps from this cottage. Either way, this cottage is a perfect place for your stay. The owners are quick to respond to any issues/questions you may have. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
