We were very happy with our stay at Malletts Bay - it is a very pretty location and the double bed in the main bedroom looks right out onto the bay, boats and at night the lights reflect off the water- so pretty. We made good use of the outdoor picnic table, lawn chairs, kayak and beach area. We had issues with the internet which was fairly hard to connect to / weak. Our visit included some work hours and that made it difficult. There are a fair number of steps down to this cottage from parking which may be an issue for some people. There are friendly neighbors - (with cute dogs!!) As well. Nice place for a family visit.

My family and I had a great time at Loon Cottage… My only disappointment was access to the lake. The reeds and the mud made it unpleasant for any of us to go in the water. We did however discover Thayer Beach where we were able to enjoy swimming. It’s only 5 minutes away…I do realize you have no control over the growth in the lake however that was really our only complaint. Otherwise your cottage is lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bev and Gordon's cottage. Kayaking to the cliffs, the little island and finding caves was a highlight. The cottage was artfully put together with a great lake themed vibe and had everything we needed; it was very clean and full of personality. Although the water off the beach wasn't really swimmable for the kids this time of year, they still would jump off from the end of the dock and had loads of fun with the paddle board we brought along. We also visited swam at beautiful Thayer Beach just a couple minutes up the road and enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets there. Sunrises at the cottage are worth getting up for. While in the area we biked the Colchester Causeway to South Hero which was an incredible ride. There was so much to explore in the area. Bev and Gordon couldn't have been kinder and more generous to us. It was so wonderful to meet you both! Thank you! Also, thank you for allowing us to use your garage to store our bikes. and especially for sharing your slice of heaven!

Great little lake cottage!

The owners were lovely as were the accomodations.

Wonderful location right on the lake. Close to great hiking and Burlington.
