Reserved the house for a bachelorette party weekend. July 7-9. On July 3rd (Monday) we were made aware that the AC was not working in the house, messaged Basil (host) on Airbnb and asked if the air would be fixed by our check in on Friday he said a technician was working on it, there was a part order that was supposed to be in Friday. Basil did not keep us very well updated, but we all decided to still go and risk the house being hot. So the AC was not our biggest issue we all brought fans and were prepared. However, the house was absolutely disgusting upon arrival. Floors were disgusting, the sinks had hair and all kinds of filth in them. There were dead bugs in several areas of the house, the showers were unacceptable, we could not shower without having shoes on. There were several beds that had what looked like pee stains on the sheets/comforters. There was a BLOODY rock at the top of the sidewalk, a knife and tons of trash by the garages. There was broken glass that one of our girls stepped on, disgusting socks hanging on the fence at the pool. The pool pump did not work at all for our stay. The downstairs living area looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in MONTHS. There was dirt, dead spiders, cob webs underneath everything. There were clothes in the dryer, like people’s personal clothes in the dryer. The insides of the cabinets in the kitchen were horrid, it looked like coffee grounds had been dumped inside a cabinet. There were mold spots in several places. The downstairs shower did not drain, the bathtub downstairs was absolutely disgusting. Although we chose to still take the trip and not cancel, this was still extremely unacceptable and very disappointing.
