Nature place

Creekside Cabin is a very nice place to stay & relax with your family & friends. I had been to this property with my friends over the weekend to spend time out of city crowd. This place is outside the city, very calm place, full of nature, bird sound, etc. Food was very good both Veg & Non-Veg, Campfire experience during night made us even more happy. Last but not the least Proprietor Mr. Sommaiah is a very nice person, who will guide & help you explore nearby places. I would recommend people to visit this place & enjoy the hospitality of Mr.Sommaiah. Overall experience & rating for this place is 5 out of 5.

Creekside Paradise!

My husband and I were lucky enough to honeymoon at the Creekside cabin 6 years ago and it has been the standard we hold every other vacation spot to ever since. We honestly did not think it could get any better than it was but it has! In the 6 years since we first visited, there have been many upgrades to improve the cabin. This was very surprising to me as most vacation rentals we have stayed at around the country, while nice, are definitely intended to be cheaply maintained to improve income. Not so at the Creekside! There is a new heating and central air system installed at the cabin which made the temps comfortable and was whisper quiet. Also, the deck has been completely redone. You can really tell the attention to detail and care that has gone into updating and maintaining the cabin. This is the most peaceful, well appointed cabin you can imagine. One amazing thing about this cabin and it's owners is how much they truly care about your visit. EVERY single thing is taken care of: multiple written directions to cabin and from the cabin to attractions, beautiful scenery and setting, a cabin that truly feels like "home" while you are there, a chilled bottle of wine waiting for your arrival, DVDs for a rainy day, and much more! Our favorite thing to do was sit each evening in the hot tub, listening to the creek run underneath us, and watch the wild turkeys come out to eat. It was truly magical! One other thing to note: while out of the way and secluded, it is only a short drive to civilization. The cabin is just a short drive to the Arts and Crafts loop, grocery and liquor stores, and restaurants. Literally the best of both worlds. If you are looking for a place to make romantic memories with your loved one, or just looking for some peace and quiet away from the attractions, then I would highly recommend the Creekside!

Fantastic

My wife and I had a great stay. The cabin was very secluded, all while being close to town. Loved the set up of the cabin, very accommodating. Looking forward to booking again in the future.

Creekside Cabin

My wife and I stayed at the Creekside Cabin for three nights. The entire stay was awesome exceeded all of our expectations! The cabin itself is extremely nice, well equipped and in a very nice and secluded location. The care that went into the preparation for our arrival was very noticeable. And during the stay Lisa B was a very helpful host and definitely enhanced our visit to the area with excellent recommendations. I’d highly recommend the Creekside Cabin...we definitely plan to stay there again on our next visit to the Gatlinburg area.

Really nice!

We really wanted a cabin on the side of a mountain with a view of a secluded valley or of Gatlinburg, one with a hot tub on the deck and with a pool table. This cabin is not high in the mountains and doesn't have that kind of view, and it doesn't have a pool table, but it is really nice in every other way. You will find that many of the cabins that have great decks on the side of the mountain also have other cabins maybe 20' in every direction, whereas you can't even see another cabin from this one. We were also concerned that many of the cabins are kind of old and musty smelling. This cabin is very, very clean and Lise is meticulous with how she prepares the cabin for each guest. You definitely feel good about the cabin immediately when you walk in because everything is warm and cozy and very clean. She also provides very particular direction as to what to do before you leave, which some people might not like, but we loved it because it made it clear that she is very particular and has high standards and because then there is no clean up fee tacked on. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and the grill and fire pit, and we enjoyed the sound of the creek running right under the deck. We were here a little early in the season, so I'm sure the whole area is prettier when everything is budding and booming and green, but we were just looking for some mountains and some 55-75 degree sun, so we enjoyed our stay. My 12 year old was hoping to see some fish or crayfish or frogs... really any sign of life, in the creek, but maybe we were here just a little too early for that. Inside, the lofted bedroom has a large, very comfortable mattress. The sleeper sofa downstairs is probably best suited for kids. The TVs in both the lofted bedroom and on the first floor are really nice, and they have a wide variety of DVDs available in case you would have a rainy 'shut-in' day. The cabin includes really nice washer/dryer combo which came in handy. The small screened in porch would be really nice on a rainy day or when the bugs are bad. Overall it was a very positive experience.

Don't want to leave.

The creekside cabin was just what we wanted, cozy,very secluded, a perfect place to relax. Lisa, the owner, made us feel very welcomed, with music, sparkling cider,and a cake for our belated 30th anniversity. She was always available to answer questions and give us suggestionsn on things to do. It was really hard to leave the place, I would definately recommend the cabin to anyone who wanted to get away from it all. It was a dream!

So beautiful and perfect, we didn't want to leave!

Everything was completely perfect. All the "extra's" were waiting for us when we arrived. Chilled wine and fruit, snacks in the kitchen, soft music, fireplace,...it was perfect. VERY isolated. We didn't see another person the entire time we were there and that is exactly what we wanted. Hot tub, fire pit, directly by the creek, surrounded by beautiful woods, amazing wildlife,...all of it was simply perfect. We will go here time and time again. Guaranteed!

Perfection in the woods

My husband and I stayed at the Creekside cabin in May for our Honeymoon, and our experience was perfect. Even before we began our vacation Lise was always on hand to help with any questions we may have had and sent some tips on places to eat/visit during our stay. The cabin itself was in a secluded woodland and for us felt like a world a way from civilization and a chance to unwind (only 8 miles away from town) after a busy few weeks. The cabin is beautiful from the inside out and spotlessly clean. Lise had added some wonderful touches for our arrival such as Prosecco to welcome us as well as music playing in the background and a smores kit. I loved how nectar was left in the fridge to fill the hummingbird feeder up when it was empty. My husband and I enjoyed a few afternoons after a long walk sitting in the hot tub waiting for Paul ( we named the hummingbird) to fly by for some food. If you wanted to have a relaxing day at the cabin without having to drive out, there is a small 1 mile walk you can make to the Treehouse cabin (loops round) which is worth it if you don't want to leave the cabin but fancy stretching your legs. I fell in love with this cabin and only hope one day we can experience this little slice of paradise again- Thanks to Lise and all her team for making our stay perfect!
