My husband and I spent four nights in the Bear Neccessities cabin. It was very basic. One thing that we thought was unusual with the cabin was there was a bathroom and bedroom downstairs; however, the bedroom downstairs just had a pool table in it. The bed was up the stair in the loft area so we had to haul the luggage up the stairs. Since it was a loft, there was no way for anyone to stay down in the main room to watch television while the other person tried to sleep because the light and noise from television went right into the loft.
We felt the layout was just wrong. There was a nice desk, but no view. We have stayed at other cabins that were nicer and had better upgrades but cost the same. We did feel safe because it was in a gated area. Staff was very friendly when we went to pick up directions to cabin. Would probably stay with this group again, but maybe try another cabin.
