The perfect base for your holiday all year round. Our farm and cottages are located in the hamlet of Rhodiad-y-Brenin, just a mile away from St Davids. The farm adjoins the Dowrog Pools Nature Reserve, a site of special scientific interest managed by Welsh Wildlife. It is a great place to live and also share with our guests. The night skies are free from light pollution and tranquillity is wonderful. The bird life on the common is diverse – a bird watchers delight! We see hen harriers, owls and grey herons and always hope for interesting winter migrants – Bewick's swans have been seen here in winter. The garden is alive with finches and other small birds. The Dowrog is vital for amphibians and the Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Trust together with Welsh Wildlife have invested in digging new pools in order to boost the habitat... Read more

Lovely rural location, but not too far from St David’s if you need supplies. Steve and Pippa are great hosts, very helpful and full of local knowledge. Cottage was ideal for our blind dog as there was a fully enclosed garden to let him roam...More

We tried to extend our stay but ran into those dreaded words, Bank Holiday. Three nights was not enough. Outside St Davids, very near a crossroads for easy access to nearby sights and coastal trail walks. It's on a farm, with meadows loaded with birds...More

In relation to St Davids you can find Maen Dewi Farm most easily by leaving St Davids
on the A487 main Fishguard Road, at the rugby club take the left turn signposted
B4583 to Whitesands Beach or if you are coming into St Davids on the A487 from
Fishguard take the right turn at the Rugby club as you enter St Davids signposted
B4583 to Whitesands Beach. Stay on this road – ignoring the actual left turn to
Whitesands Beach.
Our hamlet is Rhodiad-y-Brenin. This is the first hamlet you encounter just over a mile
from the St Davids turn off. As soon as you see the Rhodiad sign, which is just in front
of a telegraph pole on the left, look out for our drive to the right. The entrance to the
farm is opposite the second telegraph pole. The sign for Mean Dewi is on the left of
