We had the most enjoyable stay in the Welsh countryside. Stunning cottage in a remote location. An ideal place to escape from the noise of every day life. Lovely to have animals (horse, chicken, geese) roaming freely and collecting the eggs was an unexpected bonus. Great location with fantastic beaches within 30 minutes drive. Angus and Claire couldn't have been more welcoming and even cleaned out a little play house for our daughter to play in - much appreciated she could have stayed in the play house all week!
Welcome pack much appreciated. Well kitted out cottage and great to have use of beach gear to borrow.
A real haven of peace and tranquility and can't wait to return!

We had such a lovely stay at Vaynor Isaf. The fantastic reviews made it sound like the perfect location for our family and it did not disappoint. The quirky, and cosy cottage was a lovely space to spend time in and return to after a day out exploring the area. It was well-equipped and our two children loved having their own mezzanine space.The outdoor space was also a big hit with the girls, who loved having the freedom to go off exploring the farm. They must have also spent hours on the rope swings!
For us, the location was perfect. It feels remote whilst actually not being very far at all from little towns, beaches and other great attractions. As keen cyclists we had a fantastic time exploring the local roads. They are quiet, in great condition and there are just so many to choose from. We have cycled all over Europe and as people who like it hilly and peaceful we feel this area is hard to beat.
Angus and Claire were warm, helpful and welcoming- we couldn't have wished for better hosts. The animals were equally welcoming and really enhanced our stay. Collecting freshly laid eggs and receiving daily visits from an elderly horse wanting an apple delighted our children- and me! Thanks again to Angus and Claire for a fantastic stay- we are already planning our next visit.

We had a fabulous week staying at Vaynor Isaf. Our teenage boys loved the zip wire, tree swings, football goal and badminton net. The animal on the farm were so friendly especially the horse!
The owners were very welcoming and friendly and always on hand if you needed anything but were discreet and left us to enjoy our holiday too.
The property itself was beautiful and had all we needed for our summer break. The property does have wifi which wasn't mentioned in the details but was a bonus with our sons!
We would thoroughly recommend Vaynor Isaf and its tranquil location as a wonderful break to get away from it all!

You think you’re on just another holiday until you...
You think you’re on just another holiday until you wake up with Toots the horse looking through your front door window, followed by playing badminton next to the chickens and geese... this is an amazing experience for a young family, completely child friendly with their own space and activities inside and outside the cottage. The welcome pack was just the icing on the cake!
For our first trip to Pembrokeshire we couldn’t have asked for more. Easy reach to all parts of the area and able to visit some of the quieter parts away from Tenby and the like. Found some gorgeous bays with beautiful sunsets, some of the best sunsets were viewed from the farm!
Fantastic hosts and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone wanting true escape for the week. Thank you greatly.

A well equipped cottage in a lovely location. For anyone wanting to get away from it all it's a must. Although not far to local attractions such as the lovely St David's, or various coastal areas. Will be recommending to others.

Beautiful, well appointed cottage in gorgeous loca...
Beautiful, well appointed cottage in gorgeous location. We loved the free range geese, hens and horses!! Surrounded by stunning countryside with some fabulous walks and not far from the sea. Very welcoming hosts with great communication. All in all a lovely place to be.

Great place. Lovely to hear the sound of silence - very at home! Idyllic retreat with a remote feel yet handily located for lots of things to see and do. Well furnished and equipped. Great to have free access to the grounds and lovely to have all the animals wandering around. Really enjoyed it.

Lovely spot, great for the little ones with their own 'flat' upstairs complete with books and games, lots of outdoor fun to be had including enjoying the livestock.
Claire was a great host and very helpful with local recommendations. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
