One of seven old-farmhouse cottages restored to a very high standard. The Glan Morfa Lodge holiday cottages were winners of the 'Best Self-Catering Establishment of the Year', sponsored by InOut Magazine at the 2011 Anglesey Tourism Awards. Solar and wind power supply energy to each of the properties. The waste water is disposed of through a reed bed system. We have also been nominated as a Good Dark Sky Discovery Site, ideal for keen astronomers.Guests have access to a communal lounge stocked with local guides, maps and information, where they can unwind and socialise if they wish. We booked all six cottages. The Wren and Goldfinch have stunning views. The Swallow and Robin are great for families with children as they have bunk beds. The Raven has a large living room and a separate kitchen and the Swan is the biggest cottage...More
