Must stay vacation spot!
We've had yet another memorable holiday break at Cerrig Y Barcud. The standard of accommodation, venue and hospitality is exceptional and owners Ann Marie and Mathew should be proud of their business. North Wales is visually stunning and travelling to previously visited areas throughout Anglesey will still turn up something new to enjoy. A definite must return!

Highly Recommended!
Another satisfying vacation at Cerrig Y Barcud. This has been our second visit to this ideally (IMO) positioned location in the Brynsiencer (Brinshenkin) area of Anglesey. We visited places we had missed last year and travelled to places that have become favourites. If walks are your ideal holiday there are plenty to tackle; long or short; along the Anglesey Coast Path with lots of stunning views. The weather in the British summer is always unpredictable but we were very lucky and benefitted from Anglesey’s very own micro-climate. There are always places to visit regardless of the weather. A lovely week!! The standard of accommodation and hospitality is want we’ve come to expect at CYB with Annmarie and Mathew always willing to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. We’ll surely return another year.

Holiday Treat
Just arrived home after having a splendid week long holiday on the Isle of Anglesey. My wife and I wanted a relaxing break to reinvigorate ourselves after a hectic six months. However, as the weather for the time of year (late September) was so good we ventured forth and reintroduced ourselves to the delights and scenery that North Wales and Anglesey is renowned, made even better for travelling as the peak season was over. Cerrig y Barcud holiday cottages are set in an exceptional and quite location close to the Manai Strait opposite the historic mainland town of Caernarvon and the Snowdon mountain range. The cottages are maintained to a high standard of quality and cleanliness and you’re immediately made welcome by the bubbly Annmarie and husband Mathew. The facilities in Glyder cottage are top notch, the rooms are always warm and cosy with a good bed to sleep in after your day’s toils. In the evening you can tuck into the complementary Welsh tea loaf and watch TV and or make use of the Games room which includes a library of DVDs and books to borrow. The WiFi signal is also good to enough to use laptops etc. should you choose to log-on. We did find time to relax by mid-week, walking through the country lanes and parts of the IoA coastal path close by. There’s a number of interesting visitor attractions in close proximity to either side of the site that may appeal. There is plenty to do, places to visit and enjoy, it’s an ideal base, you won’t be disappointed. The holiday is great value for money! We’ll be back.

Excellent 5star accomadation in good area of Anglesey
This cottage is the best equipped we have stayed in (in over 30 years) Situated just of the Menai but easy access to other areas of Anglesey or across to the mainland. Bed very comfortable as are the settee and chairs. Cooker and Microwave modern. Owners very friendly and helpful if needed. We come several times a year to this cottage since 4 years ago when we discovered it.

Lovely location for a trip to Anglesey
Really enjoyed our stay at Glyder cottage. It was clean, warm and comfortable and the hosts very friendly and helpful. It's a perfect place for a short self catering break and ideal for those with a baby. The goats and ponies are a total bonus. If I had any suggestions for improvement I would suggest perhaps looking to replace the sofa/chair set, rug and bed as these were perhaps showing some age. Also there were no ping pong balls in the games room!

WONDERFUL
Glyder Cottage is simply a lovely place for a couple to stay. Ideally situated for the South West of Anglesey, the Menai Straits are only about 300 metres walk down the road and Newborough Forest/Beach are a 15min drive ... or in fact all the island if you like to venture further afield. It is quiet, warm and cosy with a kitchen that has all you need. the lounge area is comfortable and the bed is very good indeed. Annmarie greeted us on arrival, shortly followed by Matthew. Both very friendly and helpful. This was our first visit but ...... we WILL be back !

Very Relaxing and Comfortable
Glyder is an ideal base to explore the island. It is quiet, warm, comfortable, has a well equipped kitchen and the perfect size for a couple. The views over Snowdonia are stunning and it is only a short walk to the Menai Straits. We received a warm welcome from Annmarie and Matthew, and the goats and ponies! This was our third visit and it certainly won't be our last!
