We stayed in two of the three Foel Ferry Cottages for a week with a group of friends including 8 adults and four children, 3 of whom were under two.
We went in the first week of August and while the rest of the world seemed to be in grid lock, Foel was an oasis of peace and quiet. The cottages are recently fitted out, with all mod cons, in a sympathetic style to the age and type of building. One travel cot and high chair were included within the cottages which greatly helped the packing!!
The enclosed garden at the front is perfect for letting small children run round and we picked muscles and went crab fishing on the jetty opposite. Finally the view back over the Menai Straights at Snowdonia and Caernarfon Castle is one of the best you'll find anywhere.
