Very good location, close to Red Wharf Bay and Benllech.
Excellent, newly fitted kitchen dinner with conservatory added on. This was by far the best area and the kitchen was fitted with everything you could want or need, even if the house was fully occupied- superb!
Main lounge also a very good size for a big gathering.
Bedrooms all had en-suite which is fantastic and very rare. Even though one room does have two single beds that could be joined together, it would be better to have at least some King size beds in some rooms, especially if all visitors are very tall!
The bar lounge was our least favourite room as it looked very tired and in need of an update.
For the most part, the house was very clean.
Plenty of parking for several cars.
Overall, an excellent stay and we would definitely book again.

Woodlands Anglesey
Before we arrived Sam and Michael sent clear instructions on how to get there and get in.
The house was lovely. Clean and comfortable with a great garden, games room and bar.
Unfortunately due to government guidelines we only used 3 bedrooms of the 6 and some of our party were unable to come. They were all ensuite which was great for us.
Definitely recommend here if you have a big group.plenty of rooms to relax in.
The dining table was very large ..great for social distancing.

Great house - excellent stay
The house was lovely and worked really well for our family stay for a 70th birthday. Facilities are excellent - the kitchen/dining area was beautiful and lots of space with the bright conservatory. We loved the bar!! Bedrooms were all good and ensuite. Would definitely come back. Service from the host also excellent.

Family group staying together for a 21st Birthday weekend.
This house is ideal for a large family group. All bedrooms are on-suite and of a good size.
The communal areas are perfect and the dining table is enormous making it perfect for the family enjoying a meal together.
We cooked a special birthday meal for 12 people on the Saturday, we found the kitchen very well equipped with plenty of good sized pans and utensils. Two ovens definitely helped.
The location is good, a great pub is just a short walk away. Just one small point, when driving out of the car parking area you need to take care due to the brow of the hill being close. But it was not a problem.
I love the log burner!

Wonderful woodlands
Stayed for long family weekend during storm ciara. House was excellent warm no draughts very elegantly furnished. We wanted for nothing. All in all a 30 out 10 house if you've got a big family meet planned. Kitchen was stunning making easy home cooking. Games room kept us all entertained, WiFi worked a treat. Really can't fault.. Plus it had its own cosy bar... We all took turns paying Al Murray landlord, think everyone was barred at least t once... All in all a brilliant stay at a brilliant location... Thanks to the owners...

Great value stay for a group of friends
Great to have 6 en-suite bedrooms all very similar (no sharing bathrooms). The rooms are spacious and light. Kitchen very well equipped for catering for large numbers. Huge amount of living spaces, lounge with bar, TV lounge with wood burner, large dining room which opens to a large conservatory. There is a large basement with table football and a full sized pool table. We were a group of 10 and everyone agreed that the house was great and would like to return. I note that some reviews say that the property is a bit tired but it is very spacious, clean and well equipped and i would expect the price to be significantly higher if it was fully modernized (which we do not think is necessary.)

Mr
Ten of us stayed at Woodlands for a short break. The house is spacious the dining table is huge and made meal time very sociable. The games room was an added bonus and some of us rediscovered our fusball skills 😄. All of the bedrooms are well sized with each having an en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is very well stocked and the house was very very clean.
The road was busier than I expected and I would recommend all visitors to use the track in front of the house to enter and exit the property. I’m surprised there isn’t a mirror opposite the exit to make it safer to pull out onto the road. Thanks for providing a great property comfortably accommodating all of us and we hope to return next year.

A great place to unwind
We booked this as a family holiday for our extended family (Ages 18 to 84).
It was ideal. There was ample space - with the games room, 2 lounges and a conservatory you didn't have to be together all the time if you didn't want to. The kitchen was large and well equipped and there was a good range of take-aways nearby for when we didn't want to cook.
We did several walks right from the house and often ended up at The Ship or The Boathouse at Red Wharf Bay. Being right on the A5025 meant we could drive to Snowdonia or the other end of the island in under 30 Mins.
We all really enjoyed staying here and would happily go back again.

The centre of Benllech is only a few minutes walk, as is the glorious sandy beach. There is 125 miles of stunning coastline to explore on the island, this property is close to the Seawatch Centre in nearby Moelfre, and delightful Red Wharf Bay. Close too, is pretty Beaumaris with its historic Edward I castle (a World Heritage Site), gaol, courthouse and pier. Plas Newydd (NT) in the nearby village with the long name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is well worth a visit.
Getting around
There are shops and beaches in walking distance, the house is also close to the main bus route around the island and back to the mainland
