Great location - lovely base for exploring and relaxing
Lovely apartment right in the centre of Dolgellau, on very narrow road (currently pedestrian only). Clean and bright, 2 twin bedrooms (we pushed 2 beds together), fully working kitchen and lovely shower. Not much storage for clothes, but as we were only 2 we used the spare room and spread out!
Restaurants in the town and supermarkets at a short walk.
Parking in the town is pricey, but we parked further afield in a housing estate and cycled back down. Storage for bikes is available.
Support/info available at the speed of a text. Felt very welcomed!
Lovely cycle route to Barmouth (9miles) along estuary, but be warned the viaduct in Barmouth is now closed for 3 months (until Dec 16th 2021). We explored Portmeirion and Porthmadog, checked out some of the Great Little Trains and went as far as Snowden and Colwyn Bay. Beautiful area, amazing scenery - and it didn't rain once!
