Getting around
A car is not essential but offers most flexibility and facilitate sightseeing.
Buses run regularly from one end of the island to the other on the east side of the island.
In summer the tourist bus drives around the island every hour and it is possible to get off and on.
Cycling is a good way to get about as there are no extremely steep hills and the island is a very manageable size. Bicycle hire is available in the town.
There are also plenty of taxis.
Car not needed
