Beatiful Argyll
The enderline estate is a small idyllic hideaway that has a mix of loch, high moor and beatiful woodland. Our property was a classic old estate stone house, tastefully furnished and modernised inside. There's plenty of wildlife and walking with private loch fishing. We had a fantastic week, a perfect Scottish experience..

Cosy beatiful cottage refurbished to a high standard
I stayed in the School House for 3 weeks and was very impressed in how high-standard this place was. Everything and more that you need for a short or a long-stay is there, modern, high quality appliances, spacious kitchen, a nice wood-burning stove (much better than a traditional fireplace - wood provided). There is a large bathroom with a bath and a shower (working really well) and downstairs toilet. The space around is well managed to a high standard as well and has a very scenic look itself being surrounded by a dry-stone wall and with mature trees growing nearby. The service from Willa and Adam was great, they were helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend for a short or longer break in the region. For those who want/have to stay connected, the Wi-fi worked very well and I have used it lots for work, I was impressed with its speed. Mobile reception like anywhere in the locality can be limited, so I would not count on that.

A great cottage in a beautiful setting.
This a great two bedroom cottage. All was clean and tidy and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed walks in the area and saw the neolithic monuments of Kilmarten Glen. We also sought out and saw a lot of wildlife including beavers, ospreys, white-tailed eagles and badgers.

Fabulous!
Lovely cosy cottage in a fabulous part of the country. We were warm and comfortable and the cottage was very clean and well equipped - we had everything we needed for a perfect relaxing break, except perhaps slightly better weather!
The owners were super helpful both with the booking itself and with local information.
Would highly recommend.

Lovely comfortable house
We had the pleasure of staying at The School House for a long weekend. We found the property very easily and we were just delighted with it. It is a very new holiday rental and the standard and condition is very good. It is in a very quiet area - approximately 12 miles from Lochgilphead and a good base to visit Crinan, Oban, Tarbet etc. Angus the landlord was exceptionally helpful and had some good suggestions for walks etc. The scenery is exceptional and the property is very close to Loch Awe. A great place to get away from it all. Highly recommended!

Very friendly landlord and a lovely house.
We were the first people to stay here so everything was brand new, clean and tidy and in good working order. The landlord was very friendly and the rowing on the lake that he recommended was enjoyed by all, as were the resident ospreys. The Neolithic monuments and wildlife in the area provided much entertainment for the whole week.

About the neighbourhood
There is so much to do in the local area and you will be hard pressed to fit it into one week! On the estate we hire out bikes, kayaks, boats and have excellent fishing for pike and wild brown trout in over 25 lochs. Loads of walks and cycling routes.
There are ferries to the local Islands Gigha, Mull, Jura, Islay, Iona and Lismore from Oban, Kennacraig and Tayinloan. There are also local wildlife boat trips from Ardfern. The area is steeped in history with a local museum with many castles and old settlements to explore in the Kilmartin Glen. Inveraray has the Duke of Argylls Castle which is open to the public and The Old Jail to explore. Local sailing RYA club, kayaking tours, horse riding and guided whiskey trails.
As you can see you can be action packed or just unwind in a stunning part of Scotland!
