Fabulous home I enjoyed for the whole week. Rural as I have mentioned and sitting on its own was very peaceful. The house is over 100 years old and has kept many of those characteristics. With a modernised kitchen and bathroom.
With a car you are very close to golf courses and local towns with plenty to do.
On your doorstep you have easy walking and angling.
The house is very spacious with extra large bedrooms. Just choose your bed carefully as they are different from room to room.
The living and eating areas are equally large for a group of 6.
Do a little research of the area if you stay for the week and it is a good base for a variety of activities.
The owner was very near and popped by to ensure everything was perfect.

A quiet rural retreat to enjoy wonderful scenery and nature. Just next to Lintrathen loch the Lodge is ideal for walking, fishing, canoeing or just relaxing and enjoying the tranquillity. Two super cafes and a farm shop are within easy walking distance to treat yourself to some delicious home baking and crafts. The quaint old sandstone town of Kirriemuir known as the gateway to the glens is just 20 mins by car and well worth a visit.
