Newly renovated and extended in 2020, Brandersaig, the former Cliasmol Primary School is now a contemporary, luxury self catering home on the edge of the Atlantic looking towards the beautiful beaches of South Harris, just a 15 minute drive from the main town of Tarbert. It is the most perfect rural retreat. Sleeping up to 4 people, the two bedroomed house has a large living-dining-kitchen space with wood burner and spectacular views to the shore. High ceilings, a modern well equipped kitchen, underfloor heating, sky tv and surround sound stereo, this is the hub of the house. Also looking out to sea is an impressive master suite with a large bathroom and sauna which will ensure complete relaxation at the end of your day. Perfect House With Amazing Views
My wife and I recently spent a week at Brandersaig. On arrival we found the house to be absolutely spotlessly clean, we met and thanked the lady who looks after the house as we departed, think her name is Gael. The open plan set up is perfect for dining and chilling in the lounge area looking out to the breathtaking views. We use the sauna which was great after a long walk. Waking up in the morning looking across the water to Luskentyre beach was a joy and a view you could never get tired of. We visited Luskentyre and Scarista beaches which were so quiet and simply stunning. Husinish beach about a 15 minute drive from the house is also worth a visit. Also bought some fresh prawns and sea bass in Stornaway and enjoyed in the house with some nice wine. We would love to return in the future and highly recommend a brilliant holiday home in lovely Harris.

Beautiful home in a great location to explore Harris
Brandersaig is a beautiful, unique property with everything you could need for a relaxing break in Harris. The house was immaculately clean on arrival and the views are incredible. It's located a very short drive from the ferry port from Uig which is great, as well as being only a short drive from Luskentyre beach and other harris landmarks. Marion was very kind regarding some ferry status uncertainty on the way over which was a huge relief when we were stressed about the weather. We loved our stay and the fact that we could bring our dog Benson who loved lying by the fire, we hope to visit again at some point!

Fantastic accommodation, everything you could wish for. Definitely recommend it .great holiday. Even has a sauna with view would go back tomorrow

For your bucket list if not before
The property was amazing, beautifully presented and had everything you could want with spectacular views which constantly change. The Isles of Lewis and Harris have to be seen to be believed, stunning and very welcoming. You will not be disappointed (unless you want guaranteed sunshine) we are working out how soon we can go back!
