As we are nearby we can be on hand during your stay, if you have any questions on places to visit, attractions,restaurants etc. We also supply lots of information in the cottage on places to visit too if you prefer the hands-off approach.

About the neighbourhood
Peinchorran is a small crofting township at the end of the Braes. There are plenty off local walls on the doorstep to suit all. A shingle beach is accessed at roads end.
Getting around
Car ideal for your holiday.
Skye is mainly A roads although there are plenty of single track B roads with passing places to allow overtaking.
Local tour guides offer a number of wildlife tours.
Buses and taxis available in Portree.

How to get there

- How to get to Peinachorran
(1) From the Skye bridge; follow signs to Portree (28 miles).
(2) 2 miles before Portree, which you will see in the distance, turn RIGHT to Braes.
(3) Go STRAIGHT along single track road for 3/4 mile to junction.
(4) Turn RIGHT, following sign for Braes.
(5) Keep going STRAIGHT along single track road for 4 miles, turn left at T junction signposted Peinachorran, this road follows the coastline. At the next T junction turn left continue to the end of the road.
(6) TURN at parking place and COME BACK 3 houses to black tin roofed cottage with large tree in garden.
(7) You have arrived! Welcome Parking available on the shared driveway.
Please be aware GPS will direct you via the ferry route if using A82!
