We were greeted at the property by the host Gerry , what a helpful , polite host , Gerry was very amicable and willing to help , the house was great and the layout was good , it was spotless and the hosts had left butter , bread and biscuits for us , we gave Gerry some feedback on what we thought was the only negative and he said he was going to do something about it

All you will need for a large family.
Great house that has everything you will need for a large family. We were a party of seven . All bedrooms are on- suite . Great base to explore the island.

Beautiful island, lovely accomodation, matched by the owners
Situated just a short downhill walk from the stunning Tobermory harbour the cottage is situated nicely and the accomodation itself was large, clean and with everything you could need provided. The owners live next door and were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive in any way, nothing was too much to ask. Loaned and set up 2 fishing rods for me and the kids to go to loch Aros where we caught 3 beautiful Rainbows, biggest being 4 and a half pound and when family members travelled up from England for the last few days of the trip and there was not enough space in the car for everyone to get to the ferry home about 30 mins away the owner insisted on us not ordering a taxi and gave us a lift, refusing to take any money for fuel, nice touch. Magical holiday that none of us will forget, kids loved it, stunning scenery, wildlife, fishing and a Ceilidh that we all enjoyed. We will certainly return in the future, excellent

Great place to stay!
Ambleside situated at the top of the hill at Tobermory,ideal for access to the harbour and town, seven of us stayed ,diving the sound of Mull,lovely stay ,great beds and ample facilites,clean and friendly , Gerry couldn’t have been more helpful top man,will stay again.

Excellent accommodation - highly recommend, great location
Recently returned from a long weekend stay at Ambleside. The house is great, all the amenities you need for a great break/holiday. Comfortably sleeps 9 people and all bedrooms have an enusite/bathroom. As most of the bedrooms on the ground floor, it makes it great for people with disabilities and the elderly/ramps into the house also. Riona and Gerry, the owners, are great hosts and live beside the house if required. The house was a brilliant find, would happily recommend. Hope to see you again. Hayley and Gary xox

The house itself had everything that we needed, very comfortable and spacious for the number of people being catered for.
The owners were very friendly and always happy to answer questions on the local area offering hints, tips and advice on places to go and visit.
The house was ideally located for us, close to Tobermory but still had a quiet feel to it.
The weather was kind to us so we made the most of it, being outdoors almost every day taking in the beautiful scenery and beaches.
Love this island and will def be looking to come back. Would have no hesitation in looking to book here again.

Outstanding! Perfect location, Great for families & Groups ! Booking next trip as we speak!
This is the perfect cottage to explore Tobermory, and the Island. It sleeps 9 very comfortably and has a fabulous little nook for the children to play in just off of the living room. The rooms are all bright and airy and were immaculately clean.
It has a family room (sleeps 3) , two twin rooms and a double all with en suites! Each bathroom comes with its own locally made Isle of Mull Soap! It is a short walk to the main street, and was an ideal base to explore the Island.
Ideal if you are coming to Tobermory without a car as the bus stop is right outside!
Riona and Gerry were the friendliest of hosts - very welcoming with outstanding knowledge of the Island.
Booking another trip as we speak!
