Crofters cottage is a luxury 5 star cottage on the outskirts of Tobermory yet only 10 minutes walk from seafront, shops and restaurants.
It has been built to a very high standard with spacious accommodation. The master bedroom has en-suite shower room and the twin room is opposite the main bathroom. There is central heating and a log burner for cosy evenings, first basket of logs supplied then £5 per bag. The cottage enjoys a quiet location in the grounds of Baliscate House, a nineteenth century residence. Ideal for 2 couples or a family.

My husband and myself stayed here in February for a week together with another couple. We had a wonderful time. The cottage is ideal in its location and we certainly made the most of our time there. It’s very spacious, clean, welcoming and of a high standard of furniture and fittings. You won’t be disappointed and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Island holiday cottages mull
Super cottages, only place i would ever stay on this fabulous island, you will not find a better place to stay, both gardeners and crofters cottages are above and beyond expectations.

Ideal location for exploring Mull
I love the great outdoors -but I also like my "creature comforts" so this cottage was ideally suited for both aspects. OK so there isn't a great view from the cottage itself. But I found the location to be very convenient and being just outside Tobermory main area meant that it was incredibly quiet which is very important to me. You would have to be unlucky and have rowdy guests in the neighbouring cottage to spoil the quiet! As for the cottage itself, it is spacious, well equipped and has everything that you need for a home for a week. I loved being able to use the spacious bathroom at the end of a day's adventures being able to soak away the aches or have a hot shower with plenty of water is a plus. I also lit the fire one night as I'd foolishly turned the heating down during the day and got a bit chilled and it was lovely to watch the flames with a glass of red wine (provided free with a box of biscuits too!) All in all it was a very nice place to stay and I would definitely like to come back one day to visit all the places I didn't get to see the first time around.

Super holiday accommodation.
Situated just as you come into Tobermory, Crofters Cottage is ideally placed for exploring The Isle of Mull. Just a few minutes walk from the harbour and Main Street with its delightful shops and cafes. Crofters is superbly equipped and very comfortable.

COSY COTTAGE
Enjoyed our stay at Crofters Cottage near Tobermory. Cottage which has 2 bedrooms is more spacious than we expected and was Wheelchair friendly that was helpful to us for our son. We liked the Log Burner Stove located in the large lounge/Kitchen and the cottage has 2 toilets with walk in showers, 1 with a deep bath.
Easy parking at the rear and the cottage is very well equipped and prepared very clean. Recommended.

Weekend trip to Tobermory and Iona
We both had a magical time at Iona and Calgary bay
Weather was a bit wet but we were lucky enough to get sunny spells.
Cottage was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need iron..fridge, freezer washer dryer like a home from home .. very modern
and close by to shops and restaurants.
We even saw an otter! Wildlife was amazing and stunning scenic views.
We will definitely go back.

Spacious, luxurious warm and modern
We stayed for 6 nights in October. The accomodation was spacious, luxurious, warm and modern. It was well equipped and the heating and log burner were easy to use. We were close to our family in Tobermory and 10 mins walk to the main street. We appreciated the welcoming bottle of wine and Tobermory biscuits. Whilst we enjoyed our stay we would have appreciated more than one dishwasher tablet for the stay and replacement bin bags. There could also have been a few more of the essentials in the kitchen e.g cling film. We paid for a full 7 nights and stayed for 6 therefore felt a bit short changed. The mattress in the main bedroom was very hard and we found it uncomfortable. Having said this we would stay at Island Holiday Cottages again as the standard was so high compared to the many other places we have stayed in Mull and Tobermory.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Crofters Cottage. We apologise for the lack of dishwasher tablets this was an oversight on the housekeepers part. As this is self catering we only supply a starter amount of bin bags, toilet rolls etc. We do give guests contact information for us and would gladly have rectified your issues immediately had we been contacted. We have never had a complaint with regards to our mattresses and they are of a very high standard, unfortunately we are unable to meet everyone's personal taste with regards to firmness or softness etc. We look forward to welcoming you back should you wish to stay with us again.

Spacious and well renovated property
Very easy to locate as on the main road into Tobermory. Beautifully clean and comfortable inside and very well equipped for our weeks stay. Surrounded by trees, so limited views as such and outside table is right next to main road, so little opportunity for outdoor relaxation/dining when the weather is good. Not such a stunning location as we'd hoped as small Industrial area opposite but just a 10 minute walk into Tobermory itself from the cottage. Plenty of parking space and friendly owner. Couple of extra bin bags for the week would've been appreciated.

Well appointed modern cottage.
Perfectly located with easy access, the interior has modern clean fittings, the rooms are spacious with well chosen appliances in the kitchen. Everything you need is catered for, the log stove provides plenty of heat, if required, the leather sofas are excellent for relaxation in the evening. Plenty of parking space and within easy walking distance of Tobermory. Great welcome from the host and would recommend a stay here.

loved the cottage! great location, comfortable & spacious
We stayed with 2 kids ( 11 & 9 years old) & loved it! We really appreciated the log burning fire, spacious layout, comfortable & firm beds & beautiful clean, cotton sheets. We found the cottage had everything we needed - as well as the wine & biscuits too! It was was a great location - quiet but easy to get to Tobermory. We hope & look forward to a return visit soon. Mull was fantastic & we really enjoyed coming back to the cottage after a busy day out. I rarely write reviews but this deserved a mention. Thank you.
