The bungalow is just up from the Western Isles hotel in a prime position, giving a great view of Tobermory bay. It was a great base for our week on Tobermory. Had all the facilities necessary but TV reception was a bit variable. The bungalow is a little dated but is excellent value for up to six people with off road parking. We really enjoyed staying there and would highly recommend

A great base to explore the north of Mull.
A nice big bungalow which had everything we needed, and very comfortable beds! A good position above Tobermory with a view of the bay (just). A short but steep walk to the waterfront, and a convenient playground just over the road.

Very nice bungalow well equipped and within walking distance of pubs and restaurants in Tobermory. Would highly recommend.

COMFORTABLE FAMILY HOME
The house overlooks Tobermory Bay, it is only a short walk down the hill to the town centre, shops and cafes which is the heart of the island
The house provides a great base to explore the island
We are already looking forward to our next visit

Amazing Tobermory
Tobermory is such a beautiful place. Amazing places to eat with a very wide choice to suit any taste. We went on a whale watching boat trip and although we didn't manage to see any whales, we saw sea eagles, seals and gannets. I would strongly recommend a trip to Iona the beeches there are absolutely breathtaking with clear blue sea watch out for the jellyfish though. The aquarium and The Cheese Farm are also well worth a visit with lots of interactive things to do

About the neighbourhood
Tigh-na-acha overlooks Tobermory Bay which is a natural harbour. There are many boats moored here and working piers with local fishing boats and passenger ferries. Tobermory is the main town on Mull and should have all the shops you need for a weeks self catering holiday. Within 1km there is a golf course which you can play and enjoy the great views of the surrounding area.
Getting around
We recommend a car, but you can use the local bus service to get around during the day. There is no train service on the island. Walking is also a good way to get around and cycling too.
