Guests at Oakfield Cottage have full use of a small private garden which has spectacular views over Calve Island in Tobermory Bay and the Sound of Mull. The cottage has private off street parking within the grounds. Oakfield Cottage is ideal for adults and children alike. Guests at Oakfield Cottage have an excellent view of the very busy bird feeders. Oakfield Cottage has a well stocked toy cupboard and a wide rage of books, DVDs, CDs and games for guests of all ages.
Prices at Oakfield Cottage include electricity, linen and towels. The cottage is very well insulated and double glazed.

Mull is a beautiful island with a lot to see and do. It is a haven for wildlife with a wide array of birds and animals to look out for. Walkers and climbers have a great choice of routes on Mull and some of its neighbouring islands. Guests can choose to take one of the many land or sea tours or explore independently. There are options to visit and explore other islands such as Ulva and Iona. A holiday on Mull can be hectic or relaxing - or maybe a combination of the two.

Super house with all the equipment and accessories needed. Larger inside than we’d thought - great size bedrooms and decent lounge and bathroom downstairs. Nice and warm when we arrived thank you. We enjoyed watching garden birds on the feeders from the lounge. Easy walk down to Tobermory which we appreciated. Much harder walk back up the steps/roads but certainly built up appetites before dinner!

Fabulous weekend at MMF
The house is located in a quiet area of Tobermory but only a five minute walk from the town centre where there are pubs, shops and restaurants.
The Mishnish and the Park Lodge do good bar meals. The bakery and Tobermory stores are worth a visit.
The house is clean, hcomfortable and well equipped. The rooms are large in keeping with an older property.
There was plenty tourist info provided with many walks from the house or a short drive away.
Iona and Calgary Bay (go early) are well worth a visit.

Lovely holiday in Tobermory
This is spacious house,with comfortable bedrooms and a well equipped modern kitchen. There is a secluded garden and the house is within easy reach of the shops and other facilities in Tobermory.
The have already booked our stay for next year

Great place to stay.
Cosy, well equipped and central. Oakfield Cottage is 2 minutes walk away from Tobermory, easy access to shops and restaurants. The property is nicely decorated and very comfortable, everything is supplied and all fixtures and facilities are user friendly with a clear guide/instruction manual to help you.
2 large double bedrooms/plenty of storage space/excellent bathroom/cosy lounge/kitchen with everything thought out.
Highly recommend. Good communication with owner.

Could it be better, .... No !!.
3 things make a holiday, the people you go with, your destination and your accommodation.
Oakfield Cottage is the perfect place to stay for 4 adults. Spacious, ...Very clean, warm, well furnished, all the modern white appliances you require for a long stay. Comfy double beds, plenty of hanging wardrobe space and drawers in the bedroom. The Kitchen was modern and well equipped for the days you eat in. The bathroom had an excellent shower, enough hot water for everyone. TV, video, small music centre and draws full of games for the odd rainy day.
A nice touch was the welcome bottle of Fizz.
Peaceful view out of the windows onto the garden, and a fantastic view from the raised lawned area close by the front door. Bird song greets you every morning, even heard my first Cuckoo of the year. From Oakfield Cottage it is a gentle stroll down hill to Tobermory Main Street, a slightly more strenuous effort required to walk home up the hill, but you'll be stopping a lot to admire the view . Yes, Oakfield Cottage helped to make our visit to the Isle of Mull extremely comfortable. Thank you Iain, a lot of thought and effort has gone into making your guests feel at home.

Excellent family accommadation
The house has spacious rooms and the kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. We used it in conjunction with Oakfield House, which is ideal for large patries. There is a lovely garden, and the cottage is within easy walking distance of the main street in Tobermory.

Beautiful Accommodation
This spacious, comfortable house is much more than a typical ‘cottage’. High ceilings, big windows and a large hallway & staircase make this lovely property feel very grand! Everything you could want plus nice touches like the picnic hamper/cool bag and camping chairs to borrow for days out. Very clean & fresh throughout, comfortable beds and a great location. Couldn’t have asked for more.

If you choose Oakfield Cottage you definitely have made the right choice.
Conveniently situated a few minutes walk from Tobermory main street, we were impressed by the high level of the accommodation at Oakfield Cottage. The fittings and furnishings are excellent right down to the use of a picnic set and chairs if required. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Mull, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent family accommadation
The property is spacious and well equipped. The owner was very helpful in dealing with our queries before we arrived. It is well placed to reach all the facilities in Tobermory. Used in conjunction with Oakfield House, it is ideal for large family groups.

Once you exit the ferry on Mull, turn right and carry on the double track road until you get to the first village of Salen. Continue through the village after which the road becomes single track with passing places. If you get a queue of cars behind its good manners to pull into one of the passing places and allow them to pass and continue on their way and it also allows you to take your time and enjoy the scenery and wildlife.
The road then briefly changes to double track again taking you into Tobermory where you encounter Mulls one and only roundabout. Go straight across (1st exit) and then turn immediately right at the bus stop. This is Breadalbane Street and you continue on this for about 1/2 a mile until you go down a short narrow and steep hill to a ‘T’ junction. Turn right here and you will have the An Tobar Community Arts Centre on your right and come almost immediately to another junction. Go straight across the junction and travel half way down this brae (which is called the Back Brae), then take the left fork which immediately starts going uphill again, pass the Western Isles Hotel on your right, then the War Memorial on your right just prior to a left hand bend. Continue up this single track road and Oakfield House will become visible at the top of the road. The white gates to the right side of Oakfield House are the entrance to Oakfield Cottage. Just open them and drive up the driveway to the private parking area for Oakfield Cottage to the rear of the house.
