About the neighbourhood
Dornoch is a highland gem with a number of attractions in and surrounding the small historic town. The Royal Dornoch championship golf course (rated 6th in the world) is situated alongside the award-winning beach with a highly rated second course, The Struie. The cathedral, the Castle (previously The Bishops Palace, now a hotel) and other parts of the town transport you back over 700 years. The nearby Glenmorangie distillery in Tain gives an insight into the wonderful world of malt whisky. There are walks through ambling countryside, in tranquil forests and up more challenging hills and peaks. How to get there
Pitgrudy Holiday park is about half way up Poles Road and is clearly sign-posted.

If you are coming from Inverness (the south) along the A9, follow signs towards Wick (far north) then after you go past Tain you will cross the Dornoch bridge. You will now be 5-10 minute drive away from the park.

Take the first right into Dornoch, go past the school and turn left into The Poles Road (there is a war memorial statue on the corner).

Pitgrudy park is signposted on the right, just under 1 mile for the war memorial.

Our cabin is in the bottom left hand corner of the park after you check-in at the park office.
