A wonderfully situated traditional cottage with open outlook. Very comfortable with flexible accommodation. Only five minutes' walk to the village and beach and positioned very near to the golf course and fantastic walks and views. This is a place where only the hard of heart could fail to feel at home.

Beautiful location. Met all of our needs and super handy for our favourite golf course. Love Lamlash . Lovely walks, golf courses,eateries,, beaches and wild life. We love Arran and will be booking woodhead cottage again.

While the cottage is in a good location, we were disappointed with the overcrowded cupboards, the lack of any wardrobes, personal items left in bedroom drawers and medicines left in easy reach for little children. On the plus side, the bedding was lovely and clean...More

Woodhead Cottage is situated on a quiet road as you come into Lamlash. It has a lovely open outlook with a field in front of the garden and views out to sea and Holy Isle. It is less than five minutes' walk to the golf clubhouse and around the same to the village and the beach.

Ferry: Brodick: 4.5 km
There are buses that run to and from every ferry sailing and there are bus stops on the main road reasonably near the cottage. There are also taxis available on the island. A car is recommended because of the freedom and flexibility it allows for enjoying all that the island has to offer.
