Great wee cottage with a beautiful view
The cottage was lovely and spotlessly clean had everything (including basics) that you would need. It’s very central on top of a hill with a short steep slope to right and gentler slope to left (necessary to get the beautiful view). The ever changing sea was lovely and also watching the ferries come and go. It’s very central for all of the amenities Brodick has to offer. Arran as a whole is a beautiful Island with lots to see and do. Great time and will be back

Superb! Would use again.
This is a great place and represents good value. The view from the front windows is spectacular! The accommodation space is perfect for two people and the kitchen is well-equipped. It’s location in Brodick is convenient being close to a large Co-op and the excellent Douglas Hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would stay again.

My taste of paradise
We have been coming to Arran for many years, but this is the very best accomodation yet! The cottage is just the right size for 2 of us, and is so well equipped with everything you need. The view of the mountains and the sea from the living room and kitchen windows are stunning! It was my touch of paradise! The cottage is situated just a few minutes walk to the nearest supermarket, and 5 minutes walk to the ferry, which is a real blessing when you dont have transport.

We've been coming to Arran for many, many years and Thorncliffe Cottage is the best yet. Very, very comfortable, very well furnished, warm and as many remark - views to die for. Location is perfect - just a short stroll to the shops & amenities. Can't wait to return. Thank you Anne for a perfect stay in your pretty cottage.
