300 year old Georgian garden pavilion, modernised inside to offer everything you need for a weekend away from it all. The east pavilion offers a double room, a twin room and a single, all ensuite along with a well equipped kitchen and living room. The property is Set in the grounds of a house once historically described as the grandest in Scotland and offer peace and tranquility surrounded by beautiful countryside for long walks or bike rides. We are 12 miles from the historic St. Andrews and 39 from Edinburgh. There is a BBQ area and outdoor seating to enjoy those summer nights. Overall our family enjoyed our stay here, however the plumbing was incredibly noisy in the lower double bedroom and we had to fix the toilet,the flush button of which had obviously loosened for the previous occupant.Also,the shower in the twin room was feeble.More

Hi Sheila, I agree the plumbing can be a little noisy. With the house being built over 300 years ago and the Pavillion never being designed to be lived in, we have to use macerators in the bathrooms. We are currently looking for another option...More

I would Highly recommend anyone to visit this House ...Its is amazing in every way .. The family made us so Welcome and looked after us second to none ..We were celebrating a friend's 65th Birthday ..and we were looked after like royalty ..the History...More

This former tea house to Melville House has recently been renovated as a holiday accommodation. The three bedrooms are all nicely decorated and are en suite. The showers work nicely with good pressure, but the old plumbing pipes require loud macerators and the ventilation isn't...More

Stayed for a long weekend, Sarah and her family made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Lovely period house in beautiful surroundings.
