MAIN ATTRACTIONS: The beach, Nick Thorn Surf School, Woolacombe Riding Stables, Willingcott Golf Course and Exmoor a short drive away with wonderful walks to cater for all activity levels IN MORE DETAIL: Narracott 11 second floor apartment with its elevated position looking over the beach and 'Woolacombe Down' and Balcony that runs the length of the apartment creates for a relaxed atmosphere. Comfortable good quality sofas furnish the main living area open plan in design complete with a new 65' Samsung 'Curve' TV provide excellent facilities. A spacious family dining area lies between the kitchen and lounge. With local pubs, restaurants and the south west coast path on the doorstep, the apartment provides excellent accommodation for the discerning guest. ACCOMMODATION: One flight of stairs to the second floor Open plan (11.5m) living/kitchen/dining area with electric double oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Bedroom 1 with SuperKing 6ft bed and ensuite shower room, WC and basin. Bedroom 2 King bed. Bedroom 3 with Twin (ample room for travel cots). Family bathroom with bath and fitted shower over bath, WC and basin. FACILITIES AND SERVICES:Linen and towels. High Chair, No cot is provided, please bring your own travel cot. Gas CH.On demand hot water. 1 pet welcome. Patio furniture. Smoking permitted on the patio only. Allocated private parking for 1 car. Short breaks available. Note, BT is the sole supplier of broadband services in Woolacombe and as widely publicised some of the new sony devices (particularly Xperia) have problems connecting with BT hubs. If you have a sony device it is recommended that you research in advance if any software patches have been made available and downloaded on your device FYI - there is building work on the old hotel complex next door. Most guests report this does not impact them at all - except it is a bit of a shock to arrive and see it. More

Your holiday home will be ready and available from 3pm onwards on the day of your arrival. Check out time is 10am on day of departure.  So we can prepare the apartment for our next guests, please respect our turnaround times and do leave the apartment on time. Our onsite Housekeeper Sarah can be reached on the phone or via text and whose details are in the arrival instructions you will receive on receipt of full payment of your balance and which are also within the apartment. Reception can sometimes be patchy in Woolacombe and so in an emergency please do both email, call and text. If you have any questions before or during your stay, please contact Sarah and she will be happy to help you.

About the neighbourhood
Woolacombe Bay is a three mile stretch of golden sand at the bottom of a valley. To the west Baggy Point cliffs and to the North East Morte point frame the beach. Nearby attractions include the following: Ilfracombe: A fine Victorian seaside resort with something to do whatever the weather all year round Tarka Cycle trail: National Cycle Network, Devon Coast Route 27. This is a wonderfully scenic circular route on the North Devon coast and takes in two superb traffic free sections, the National Trust coast route beside the sea at Woolacombe Sands and the former railway path from Ilfracombe to Willingcott Cross. The remainder is along attractive minor roads through quiet villages and rolling Devon farmland.
Getting around
A car is advisable, there are buses to nearby Barnstaple and Ilfracombe and good local (pet friendly) taxi services.
