BURLAND HOUSE OVERVIEW BURLAND HOUSE is a large, comfortable family home set in Halsinger, on the outskirts of Braunton village, in the Devonshire countryside, a few miles from the coast and within easy reach of Barnstaple. There is a newly installed 52' internet television and DVD Player, bookcases, board games, pictures and wall lighting, all adding to the charm of this property. A further hall, this being the main entrance hall, has a wide front door to the driveway, wooden floors. The secondary lounge is a large, double-aspect room, with polished wooden flooring, rugs, pictures and feature furniture. It has comfortable sofas and is attractively decorated and also has a large wood-burning stove. KITCHEN The kitchen is pleasant and homely, with Shaker style units, double sink, electric cooker and dishwasher as well as all the cooking utensils that you would require. Next to the kitchen is the Utility Room/Larder housing the fridges, freezer and the washing machine, and has plenty of shelving. BEDROOMS Bedroom 1 comprises a double bed and wardrobe with lovely views over adjoining fields. Bedroom 2 is a pleasant twin room facing west, catching morning sun. Bedroom 3 is a double-aspect room with bunk beds and fitted wardrobes with views up the country lanes. Bedroom 4 is another double room with stunning country views. Bedroom 5 is a large loft double bedroom with en-suite. Because it is accessed from the Snug, via an open-plan staircase, it is a more private room in a separate wing of the house. It boasts a six-foot bed and has pleasant old pine furniture and hanging-rails. BATHROOMS Off bedroom 5 is a lovely en-suite bathroom with a full-size bath, WC and basin as well as lovely views over the garden. The family bathroom bathroom comprises a white bath suite and power shower with WC and basin. There is a separate WC and basin off the hallway on the ground floor. OUTDOORS Surrounded by true Devonian countryside, enjoy the super garden, which is very large, enclosed and laid to lawn. There are a few outdoors games items for the whole family to enjoy as well as BBQ for great country meals.
