Interaction with guests
First time guests are met personally by either Martin or Margaret, shown round and handed the door key. The owners live just 2miles away and are usually available during the holiday ir required. For keen walkers, a lift to assist with a 'logistically difficult' walk is offered. Bosun's Cottage is ideally situated for walkers of the long distance southwest coastpath. There is so much to do and see in the area - both 'active' and 'relaxing' - lots of information on our website and also in the cottage for you. Walking maps that you can take out with you are also in the cottage. Please note that the stairs are slightly steeper but also shorter than average - see the photo showing angle above ships wheel.

Bosun's Cottage was just as advertised - barely 70 yards from the beach, and handy for the shops and pubs. The rooms are small, but we managed to fit in lots of kayaking gear without too much difficulty. There is a decent bathroom, with ample...More
