Holiday Rental House
In 2016 the cottage had a complete makeover, freshly decorated, new ensuite bathroom, new carpets etc. There are 3 bedrooms, one double with king size bed, one with double bed and a single. There is also a sofa bed downstairs if needed to sleep total of 7. The cottage is fully equipped, and has a wood burning fire. There are many walks around the estate and beyond, as well as a lovely pub and restaurant within easy walking distance. There are some areas of special interest for wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers, and also carp, coarse and trout fishing available on the lakes. There is bike rental facilities on site, but the cottage has 2 kayaks that you are welcome to use (life jackets are available and must be used) The cottage does have TV and Wi-fi internet access. During school holidays/Peak times we have a minimum 3 night stay. The pool is heated, and there’s also a sauna. Its shared and a short walk from the cottage. There is also a children play area, trampoline, tennis court, soccer pitch and picnic area by the pool. Great area for cycle rides and walking, both round the estate and nearby area's. NB this property does not have access to ArtSpa, and the spa doesn't allow casual bookings. There is however a good Spa at the Waterpark and I can supply details. Property is next to the Thames path, and the fledgling river Thames runs past the wooden deck at the back of the cottage.More

The cottage is lovely in a wonderful location with lots of amenities. There is a lovely dog friendly pub nearby, The Bakers Arms which we walked to and the onsite cafe/restaurant served great cocktails and nice tapas for lunch (we didn't try it for dinner)....More

Homely house with everything you need for a family holiday. Upstairs been refurbished but kitchen could do with a refit and deep clean. The living area is dark due to proximity of large trees and lack of sunlight although weather was fantastic. Pool area clean...More
