The Lizard, Cornwall, England
Bramble Cottage is one of the larger properties at Trevelyan Holiday Homes tucked away in a quiet situation away from the road and overlooking countryside. The Trevelyan complex is co-owned by the owners of Bramble Cottage, hence there have been many improvements with more in progress. 2 bedrooms (one double, one twin), fully equipped holiday chalet on safe, secure site. For colder nights there are storage heaters, an oil filled radiator and coal effect fire. £1 COIN METER FOR ELECTRICITY (now only accepts new £1 coins).

A holiday here means peace and quiet, easy parking and a very comfortable base from which to enjoy this special part of Cornwall. Many beaches (Kynance Cove, Kennack Sands, Poldhu Cove) are within easy reach and the South West coastal path is only a short walk away through a nature reserve. The nearby villages of The Liz...

We stayed at Bramble Cottage for 10 days. We were very lucky with the weather - sunshine all days. A lot of beaches, villages and other places to visit are around. Lizard, Helston and Mullion are close by; however, you need a car to go...More

Thanks for your feedback, Lars and so glad you enjoyed your visit to Cornwall. Do come again (who knows, we might even have a proper electricity supply by then!).

Chalet was spotless and very roomy. The location was on a very peaceful green site. Perfect for exploring all the nooks and crannies the Lizard and surrounding area had to offer. Great pubs which did lovely not overpriced food within a fairly short drive. Lots...More

this is my second review of Bramble Cottage, my first did not show!! Every thing we needed for a quiet and relaxing time but also plenty of beaches to visit nearby. Ideal home from home.

About the neighbourhood
Just a short distance away from the picturesque fishing village of Cadgwith Cove (as featured in the Monty Halls documentary 'A Fisherman's Apprentice' and Kynance Cove, voted one of the world's most picturesque beaches. Lizard Point, England's most southerly tip, is just a couple of miles away, as is Mullion Cove. Other filming nearby includes the popular TV series 'Poldark' and Agatha Christie's 'And Then There Were None'. The Lizard is unique in its green and red serpentine rock and seals and choughs are common sights amongst the turquoise seas and amazing coves.
Getting around
There is a good bus route right by the site but a car is recommended. Cycling is ok (but there are some hills and the roads are narrow). Walking, especially around the cliff tops of Lizard Point, is the real way to travel here!
