Marhamchurch, Bude, Bude-Stratton, Cornwall, England
We provide quality assured self-catering holiday accommodation near Bude in the heart of rural North Cornwall. Our cottages are situated just 3 miles from the beach and 4 miles from Bude, close to the Atlantic Highway, which runs along the North Cornwall coast.

The cottages were converted from the original barns situated around the traditional farm yard and have all undergone further extensive renovation in recent years. Carthouse sleeps 2 people, while Wagtail and Swallow each accommodate 4 people. Wagtail has 1 double and 1 twin bedroom, Swallow has 2 double bedrooms. In each cottage guests have the option of choosing either a king size or twin beds in the master bedroom.

Interaction with guests
We used to stay in holiday cottages in Cornwall with our children when they were younger and came to love this part of the world so much we moved here. So as well as living here we have a pretty good understanding of what visitors want and a very good knowledge of the best places to go, things to do and just as importantly what to avoid ! We live alongside the cottages in the old farmhouse but try and adopt as discreet a style as possible - we're there to help and advise at arms length ! We are a small family run friendly business and our aim is to help you get the most from your holiday. The fact that so many of our guests return is, we hope, an indication that for most of the time we are getting something right ! We hope to see you soon.

A lovely cottage which was spotlessly clean, very well fitted out and in a beautiful setting. We stayed in 'Swallow' which had a lovely view across rolling countryside, with a relaxed tranquil ambience. Very friendly and helpful owners, though not in any way intrusive. In...More

About the neighbourhood
Titson is very close to Bude just 10 minutes by car. This famous seaside town has a golf course, swimming pool and leisure centre, the historic Bude Canal, and outstanding beaches for surfing and family days.

Titson itself is a small hamlet. The closest village is Marhamchurch. The nearby village of Whitstone has an excellent village store and post office specialising in local produce.

North Cornwall's wonderful coastline is only a few minutes drive away. Our closest beach is Widmouth Bay, our favourite is Crackington Haven where you can watch the sun set from the Coombe Barton Inn.

Nearby towns include Holsworthy, Bideford and Launceston, the ancient capital of the Duchy of Cornwall.

You are ideally located to explore and enjoy some of the finest attractions of North Cornwall and...

How to get there
We recommend:
Use the M5 motorway to Junction 31, then take the A30 towards Bodmin and Okehampton.
Leave the A30 at Launceston and follow signs for A388/B3254 for Holsworthy/Bude.
From Launceston, take the B3254 for Bude. Follow this for about 12 miles, passing through Whitstone village. After a further 2 miles turn left, signposted to Widemouth Bay.
Titson is 1½ miles. After passing the old Chapel on your left, turn right on the bend (with care!) and then immediately right again in front of the telephone box.
BUDDS BARNS is at the end of the lane on the left.

Alternatively, using less motorway, you could:

Leave the M5 at junction 27 and take the A361 North Devon Link to Barnstaple. Then take the A39 towards Bideford and Bude.
Stay on the A39 for about 35 miles, through Kilkhampton and S...
