This luxury 5 star 2 bedroom penthouse apartment has stunning sea views across Crantock beach from the living room and the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a king-size bed plus en-suite and the second bedroom comes with zip-and-link beds. A travel cot and high chair are also available.
The apartment has the added benefit of two balconies overlooking Crantock beach and towards the spectacular sunsets of West Pentire.
There are two allocated parking spaces, a surf store and a communal external wash-down area for those sandy wetsuits and gritty toes!! The owners of this apartment have also included a free membership pass for the on-site leisure facilities which includes heated pool, spa bath and tennis court for use during the duration of your stay.

Lovely apartment
Great apartment and fabulous views. We had a fabulous stay here. Great location close to some lovely beaches. Very nice pool and we made full use of the family time sessions that were offered twice a day. Particularly handy to have as an included amenity on poor weather days. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to return or to recommend this apartment.

Nice apartment
We had stayed at apartment 14 twice before and loved it. Couldn’t get it for our preferred dates so took number 12 instead. Not as nicely furnished and smaller but same stunning views.
An extra hour added to check in for covid deep clean. Several kitchen items broken and when we took them to reception they apologised but nonreplacements were offered.
Bookable swim times were great - loved having the pool to ourselves.
Niggles:
We asked for both rooms to be made up as doubles when we booked but one room was made up as two singles on our arrival. We were made to believe it was our error but a subsequent booking shows it is an error on their website as we have been doubly sure this time and it was not logged again. Getting double bedding was a hassle and we were told we would be charged for it even though it was their mistake.
Welcome pack was much smaller and less generous than previously - eg small box of 8 teabags rather than a box of 80 Cornish Teabags. No scones / cream.
Both these issues meant that with the very high price paid for the apartment we felt unhappy with the service provided. Small things but they make all the difference and this complex sells itself as a luxury option.

Amazing apartment with a fantastic view!
Apartment was very clean, very equipped in the kitchen. The washing machine was a great help as we stayed for a week. Apartment was spacious, fresh and modern. No signs of wear or use. No noise from neighbours or outside. As seen within photographs, great facilities and clean surroundings. Parking for 2 cars and collection of keys was great. Location was perfect for short walks to the beaches. Poly Joke Beach was our favourite. The view from the bedroom and kitchen are just breath taking! Sitting on the balcony and taking in the views was the best! It is our favourite place to stay in Cornwall now after visiting several self-catering/ hotels nearby. We cannot wait to stay again! Thank you Crantock Bay Apartments and the team for wonderful memories.

Stunning views
Very well equipped and spotlessly clean apartment. Views were amazing, loved sitting on the balcony looking at the view. Lovely to have a cafe and swimming pool on site.

Fantastic Views
We stayed here as a treat for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and it didn't disappoint. It was very well equipped and it deserves every one of it's five stars. The staff at the bistro were excellent and very attentive. The surrounding area is fabulous and easy to navigate. We never tired of the views from both balconies and bedroom. If you want 5 star accommodation and quality service then this is the place to stay.

what a view!!
We had a lovely week in this apartment. It's well furnished and decorated to a high standard. We sat for hours taking in the view - you just can't tire of it!! The directions and instructions to collect the apartment key were spot on. The welcome 'hamper' means you can have a cuppa and a biscuit or a glass of wine while you settle in. We had everything we needed - nice big fluffy bath towels, quality bedding, washing machine and so on. We enjoyed using the small pool, spa bath and tennis court on site. It was rarely busy and we had it to ourselves some days. The staff are lovely and the Bistro is amazing. I do feel a bit bad about knocking a star off because I really would recommend this apartment and the C Bay Bistro on site. I've knocked a star off because the apartment was just so hot (and we were there in low season). There is underfloor heating individually controlled in each room which we just didn't need at all. Also, presumably done during the initial build, the bathroom was fitted out with shiny tiles on the floor that are just not practical, especially with a child. The neighbours were noisy too but that's not really a reflection on the apartment itself and that presumably changes over the year.

Great Apartment!
We had a fantastic stay - the apartment is really spacious with fantastic views from the 2 balconies. We used the on-site pool everyday as well (and the jacuzzi!). Did several walks straight onto the coast path as well as a few cheeky afternoon beers in the cafe. We would love to stay there again please!!

Breathtaking location, spotlessly clean, didn't want to leave
The location of Crantock Bay apartments is simply breathtaking; the scenery, the walks, the beach, the amenities; you couldn't want more.
The apartment was perfect; spotlessly clean, stunning views, friendly staff and in a great location.
We really didn't want to leave..in fact, we booked to return later in the year, as soon as we got home!

Don't think about it, book it
From the second you walk in, you will love this place. The apartment looks stunning and has everything you could need. The views are stunning and the staff helpful. Crantock beach is a great place to explore with your family. We will be back.

About the neighbourhood
There is a local Londis shop and Post Office in Crantock. All major banks and shops can be found in Truro with some smaller ones in Newquay<BR>There are a number of surf schools and shops in the area of Crantock, Holywell and Newquay. More details can be found on our website. Cycling is also very popular in this area with old tram lines being converted into cycle paths. (Camel Trail and Bissoe Trail) There are also plenty of National Trust houses and gardens to visit whilst staying in Cornwall and a variety of activities for children. (Dairyland, Newquay Zoo, Newquay Aquarium, National Maritime Museum, The Eden Project, Creely Adventure Park, Holywell Bay Fun park.....to name but a few)

We would recommend having a car when staying here as it gives extra flexibility. If you arrive by air, we can organise for you to be picked up or you can hire a car from Newquay airport.

Crantock Bay is located in the hamlet of West Pentire, on a National Trust headland near Newquay in Cornwall, UK. If you are using SatNav to get here, our Postcode is TR8 5SE. Our Co-ordinates are Latitude: 50.4038 Longitude: -5.1297. Coming from Bodmin, leave the A30 at Indian Queens, following the signs for Newquay. At the roundabout at Quintrell Downs, take the road signed A392. At the roundabout by Morrisons carry straight on. At the next roundabout turn LEFT on to the A3075. After 500 yards turn RIGHT for Crantock. At the next junction turn right towards Crantock. On entering the village, do not turn right into the centre, but stay on the West Pentire road for 1 mile to the hamlet of West Pentire.
