Head up a short flight of steps to: Bedroom One The first room you come to as you ascend the staircase when entering the cottage is the master bedroom; a snug double perfect for couples, with a 6ft zip and link bed that can be made into twin beds should you need. Making good use of the cottage's staggered layout, an attractive country-cream décor is brought to life by contemporary pops of blue alongside artwork of Malmesbury through the ages, evoking a sense of the cottage's rich history as the town's historic water mill. A small en-suite shower room with hand basin and toilet offers guests a good amount of privacy, plus there's a full-height wardrobe for convenient storage. Following on up the staircase from Bedroom 1 to: First Floor Bedroom Two The cottage's second bedroom is a spacious twin room that can be converted to a 6ft bed should you prefer. Bursting with light thanks to a bright bay window that overlooks the river below, here the cottage's heritage shines through the exposed ceiling beams, with vibrant red fabrics giving an elegant pop of colour to the classic country colour palette. There's a spacious double wardrobe and handy additional chest of drawers, plus a large bay window; the perfect spot to watch the river as it flows beneath. Head up the stairs to The Leat's main living space: Second Floor The Kitchen/Dining/Living Area Found up the winding staircase on the cottage's top floor is the open-plan living, kitchen and dining area; a light, bright space with views from every angle, offering a cosy spot to whip up a feast and put your feet up after a busy day exploring the winding honey-stoned streets of Malmesbury.
