You will be steps away from amazing restaurants, great shopping, close to Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, public transit is super easy (bus, MAX), and the bustling cafes and coffee shops. · We are pet-friendly and for an additional deposit, you can bring your fur-baby with you. · The sheets and bedding are high quality, thick and soft. · Use bluetooth or the aux cable behind the soundbar to play music off your phone, or the tablet I provide, the sound is superb. The tablet has a link to a video that will show you how to use it. There's even a waterproof speaker in the shower you can connect to, to start your day with a bang! · The toiletries in the bathroom are from Lush (hand-made and natural). · I have stocked the kitchen with basic ingredients for healthy baking (even almond flour and coconut flour) and plenty of kitchen gadgets. · The coffee is from nearby Sterling Roasters, and it will blow your mind. I also have lots of tea, raw sugar, decaf and agave sweetener. I will ensure that you will have your preference, cream or milk, for your coffee/tea when you arrive. · You will find only natural, high quality products in my cupboards, and many of them local. I use natural cleaning products, mostly Mrs. Meyers. You won't find a cleaner place anywhere!More

About the neighbourhood
Why go now? Portland has been an “it” city for years now, hailed primarily for its fiercely inventive, hyper-local food and beer scenes – The Washington Post went so far as to call it America’s best food city, beating out San Francisco, LA and New York. But the lack of a non-stop flight between the UK and Oregon’s largest metropolis has kept it off the mainstream tourist map for Brits, until now. This month, Delta Air Lines launches new seasonal flights between PDX and Heathrow, showing off the typically grey Pacific Northwest at its brightest: summertime. And while Portland’s proudly liberal, hipster-turned-up-to-ten reputation has seen it lampooned in sketch comedy show Portlandia, there’s more to explore than too-cool live music (expec
Getting around
Everything you need is within walking distance. There is a bus line that stops literally at my front door, the street car that stops just two blocks down on 21st and Lovejoy, and a Max stop less than a half mile away at Providence Park. Of you still feel that you need a car, I suggest renting with an app called Getaround. If you book with me, I will send you a link that gives you $20 off your first reservation. There are several vehicles available in my neighborhood, but the Prius on Irving will cost you almost nothing in gas and has a bike rack. Parking is paid for you. Uber and Lyft are quick and cheap here, and you can use Alexa to get one with a voice command.
