Enjoy living in the 1880's but with all the modern amenities. The Victorian terrace is nestled on a beautiful garden block that backs on to a park that has BBQ's & floodlit tennis court. It has three open fireplaces with one pre-set for you to enjoy. All the timber is supplied and placed near the fire. The building has undergone a $1M+ restoration process. The Terrace contains 1800's antique furniture so you can experience what it was like living in the 1800's but with every thing absolutely new.     Due to strict insurance regulations and to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests, you must read and agree to the 'Guest Registration Form'. It set out guidelines on use of fires, candles and safety on stairs. The is zero tolerance to parties and restrict the number of people in the terrace to the number that have booked. There will be additional charges if the kitchen is left dirty especially the oven. Cooking that create strong smells is not allowed.

    Our express purpose is to help guests get the most out of their stay. Please let us know what you want. We prepare the terrace prior to your arrival so that when you arrive the terrace is a comfortable temperature. We put lights on and pre-set the open fires and outside fire pits. Prior to your arrival we mow lawns and clean all outside seating areas. We will assist you where ever necessary, or alternately ensure that you have total privacy. Having 40 years experience in the area we can advise not only what to see, but what time to do it.

    Fantastic

    We stayed at Bank House for two nights, what a fabulous experience. Jeff & Deb have done a amazing job restoring Bank House to it's former glory. Jeff & Deb are wonderful hosts, full of local knowledge. This accommodation is truly exceptional. Maggie TohmeMore

    About the neighbourhood
    The Bank House is located in the main street of the heritage protected village of Mount Victoria. It is surrounded by a public park with floodlit tennis court, beautiful lookouts and bushwalks. Mount Vic Flicks, Petalura Eatery, Café and Pub are a few minutes walk. Mount Victoria is the highest village in the Blue Mountains at nearly 1100m. It is close to Jenolan Caves, Mount Wilson, Blackheath and Katoomba. Wander through the adjoining public park at dusk and enjoy a meal at historic Manor House.
    How to get there
    Mount Victoria is easily accessible by car, bus and train. You can take a relaxing train ride to the beautiful and historic Mount Victoria Station. The terraces are a leisurely 5 minute walk through the village. Then take a train to Blackheath, Medlo Bath, Katoomba or Leura to enjoy the many restaurants and tourist attractions. You can book a trip to Jenolan Caves and get the bus just up the road.
