Our first floor, two bedroom self catering apartment is an ideal coastal retreat offering amazing views out to sea and across The Tyne towards Tynemouth Priory. From the comfort of your living room window watch ferries coming and going into the Tyne. We appreciate you don't want to pack your entire kitchen sink for a short break. To reduce your packing we supply towels and bed linen together with clean tea towels and dish cloths. Enjoy the precious leisure time you have to relax with family and friends with a walk along the beach, fitness and fun at Haven Point leisure centre or all the excitement of the Pleasure Beach. Discover the region's Castles and Roman Forts and much, much more. This modern seafront apartment, a short walk from Sandhaven Beach, is an ideal location to explore the North East or simply take a break. Directly across from the apartment is Minchella's ice-cream parlour serving its famous ice-cream. A short stroll will take you to Ocean Road where there is Coleman's - voted 'The Best Fish and Chips restaurant in Britain' (just ask David Miliband or Tony Blair) or a truly amazing selection of Indian restaurants and takeaways. There are plenty of seafront pubs serving good food and great beer at affordable prices. There is a handy Tesco Express supermarket 4 minutes walk away along Sea Winnings Way. It is open from 6am until 10pm selling a wide selection of food, drinks and toiletries. There's also a 24 hour ATM machine and a few doors up from that is Mac 'n' Alli - a cool tea shop serving breakfast. The master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom is furnished with bunk beds, both rooms have plenty of storage space. Free unlimited Wifi Responsible dog owners with well behaved dogs are welcome. However, the apartment is on the first floor and we don't have a secure private garden. There is a large, dog friendly field immediately in front of the apartment and the beach is a very short walk away (restrictions are in place during the summer months on some beaches). Please let me know if you travelling with your pet. Beach Towels, Cool Box, High Chair, Travel Cot and access to Shared Bike Storage are available on request. More

A lovely flat, very child friendly with amazing views. A stones throw from the beach and some lovely touches from the owner. We had a great stay. Would also be fantastic location for any Great North runners as very close to the finish line

The apartment would be a perfect home from home for guests attending family Weddings in the area. There is plenty to keep you occupied in South Shields from beaches to arcades and theatres to water slides. The leisure centre at Haven Point welcomes non members. After your work out, reward yourselves with a treat at Minchella's Ice Cream Parlour. Events at South Marine Park will keep you entertained throughout the summer. Alternatively, blow away the cobwebs and stretch your legs with a stroll along the beach to Marsden Rocks or take the short ferry crossing to North Shields and get a view from across the river and enjoy a leisurely walk into Tynemouth Village.
