Only those booked in allowed access to flat This is a newly listed property but you have the assurance that the furniture, decor, linen, kitchen equipment, etc. are to the same standard of our other 3 properties NOTE: Although our apartment is spacious enough for groups of 4-5 with a lovely open plan living area, if you require somewhere a little bigger with more space to socialise and dine in please check out my absolutely beautiful 4 bedroomed Hartington Terrace apartment which is only a little further away from the beach (5 mins drive) in the Westoe area of town (5 mins walk from Chichester metro). Being well travelled for business and pleasure myself both with and without my children I know what it takes to make a place homely for both adults and kids alike and that is my aim for all of our properties, to create a home away from home for all. This property has been my children’s and my home for periods recently and I have spent significant time here improving it for guests so meets my very high standards and will be ideal for you and your family/friends to enjoy without anything at all to worry about. As with all of our properties my objective is to provide somewhere I would want to (and routinely do) stay with my children. Good quality furniture, linen, towels and soft furnishings are provided throughout and good quality mattresses are provided on all beds with mattress protectors. Secure entry from both front and back doors (back door direct from off road car park behind complex - the apartment has one dedicated parking space and there is also parking to the front of the property). Layout is from entering front door; lobby, bathroom with good quality electic powered shower over bath to the right, though door, master king size bedroom to left with Sea Views (one bedside lamp, triple mirrored wardrobes, ample drawer space in chest of drawers), bunks room to the right (with bunks and bedside cabinet/lamp), straight on - living room with red leather 3 seater, single seater and footstool (with storage), coffee table, bar table and stools which sits 3/4 to drink at or 2 to eat at at to fully enjoy the amazing Sea Views over the top of Westoe Crown Village (lap trays are also provided to eat sitting on the sofa for a TV meal!). Fully equipped kitchen to the right in an open plan design. The whole place is very bright and airy with plenty of windows allowing natural light in. There are two windows with sea views in the living room in addition to the one in the master bedroom. Views to the back are nice and open as well. The living area/kitchen forms a great communal and interactive area to dine, socialise and relax in. 42” Sony TV with Freeview channels, DVD player, and Spotify music system speaker is provided to enjoy either your own music or Radio through a smart phone. Kitchen has full size 60:40 fridge freezer, electric hob, oven, microwave, kettle, cafeteria and toaster. Also has washer/drier (with detergent), cleaning products/utensils. It is very well equipped with good range or pans, casserole dishes, slow cooker, etc. The dining table sits 4 and trays are also provided. A high chair can also be provided on request. Although breakfast is not provided a selection of tea, coffee, sugar etc is provided. 2200w hairdryer and vacuum is also provided. The master has King Size bed, 2nd bedroom has bunks and the sofa bed in the living area could also sleep 1 person. A travel cot, can be provided to allow for a great nights sleep for one very young guest on request! I live in South Shields so will try to meet and greet guests wherever possible and if they would prefer this by prior agreement. Stayed at Colin's place with my wife and 3 children for work a long weekend in South Shields. It was just perfect for us. The apartment was really clean and comfortable. We walked to the beach,The Marine Park, the fairground and the metro station easily...More

About the neighbourhood
Ideally situated centrally in Westoe Crown Village, 8 minutes walk to the beach from the front door! The apartment is just a few minutes walk to lovely bars along the coast; The Sandancer, Marsden Rattler, New Sundial (newly renovated), New Crown, The Marine (under new ownership and really great selection of real/craft ales), Littlehaven Hotel, etc & restaurants (including the famous Ocean Road and all of its Indian restaurants of course!). There are ample amenities nearby; just below us is a Tesco's supermarket for any last minute groceries and 2 great coffee shops (Mac n Ali's & Cappuccino Kids!).
Getting around
There is one dedicated free off street parking space available with the apartment and also ample on street free parking available to all our guests to the front of the property. Both South Shields and Chichester Metro Stations are 15-20 minutes walk away (or a few pounds in a taxi) and there is also excellent transport links to Sunderland with a very regular bus service (E1 every 9 minutes) , the bus stop for which is at the New Crown, a 5 mins walk from our place.
