Modern Two-Bedroomed Holiday Apartment situated in the heart of Berwick-upon-Tweed and just a short stroll to restaurants, pubs, antique and curiosity shops. The holiday Apartment (although Modern) is situated within a Grade 2 listed building dating from the 1850’s, and is situated along a quaint and narrow cobbled pathway that leads from the Barrels Pub, through a short tunnel under the town walls onto the Tweed Quayside and recently opened “Lookout” café. There is immediate access to the walks around the town walls and the Grade 1 listed ‘Old Bridge’, which was built in 1611. Indeed, that is why the address is 1A Quay Walls/Bridge End! There are 2 bedrooms (one double and one with twin bunk-beds) and will comfortably sleep 4 people. There are two bathrooms (one ensuite). This a spacious well-appointed apartment in a great location, seconds from the quayside. The hosts Dorothy and Nigel were there to show us in and provided milk, cheeses, eggs and wine to get us started!
