The caravan has a spacious lounge and dining area with colour TV, Free view recorder, android box and DVD player. There is a large selection of DVd’s and books in the caravan. Fully fitted and equipped kitchen with hot and cold water, fridge full cooker and microwave. Shower room and toilet. Two bedrooms, one with double bed with foam topper, en-suite and the other with twin beds. The caravan has full central heating and also double glazing. No extra charges for gas or electricity used. The caravan has duvets, pillows and blankets, please bring your own bed linen and towels. The site has a large play park with plenty of space for ball games to enable the kids to use up some of that holiday energy. Its all robust and completely safe to keep youngsters occupied and happy for hours. The site has a laundry room, open every day, which is provided and equipped with two washers, 2 dryers and ironing facilities. There is also a coffee house, which is open all day on the site, so if you don't want to cook! why not have breakfast or snacks which are served all day. The Flask Inn this has an extensive bar menu which caters for all tastes. The Flask inn has been recently refurbished, the landlord now has a fantastic new menu or for your emergency shopping or today's papers there is the Garage Mini Mart next door with provisions such as milk tea or coffee. Close by on the road to Whitby is a large Sainsburys supermarket. The nearest beach is a 2 mile drive to Boggle Hall, there are paths down to beach through lovely country side passing through woodland trust land. The walk into Robin Hoods bay takes about an hour. There are 6 pubs in the bay , so you can take a taxi or bus back if you visit all 6 The walk down passes the cinder track which is the old Scarborough to Whitby discussed rail way, which passes spectacular coastline on an easy walking route. We have stayed in Flossie twice now and both times have been brilliant. The caravan has everything you need to enjoy your stay, including WiFi. It is well equipped and comfortable and clean. The caravan site is nice and quiet if you want a relaxing...More

Excellent stay in the caravan clean warm comfortable and well located for visiting whitby Scarborough and all other locations along the coast will be back again soon.

Perfectly situated, central to all places of interest to visit.caravan was very well equipped and comfortable.the flask Inn next door served very good meals and reasonable priced, would definitely book again.Paul the owner was very helpful in providing on places to visit.

Set in the countryside within the the North Yorkshire National park The Whitby / Robin Hoods Bay area One of the most picturesque villages on the beautiful English coastline, the Yorkshire village of Robin Hood's Bay delights visitors with its quaint cottages, bubbling beck, narrow cobbled streets and sandy beach. All visitors will love the beach and its cliff top walks, whilst more serious climbers can enjoy the many long distance trails that pass through the town such as the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake Walk and the Coast to Coast walks. The village is located between two thriving seaside destinations – Whitby and Scarborough, which each offer amusements, beaches, shops, pubs and restaurants. Robin Hood's Bay itself also offers good amenities, including shops, restaurants pubs and an ice cream parlour.
Getting around
A few places to visit A walk from opposite is a walk through a woodland trust ( Harry’s folly) you can meet up with the railway line which one way goes to Whitby and the other to Scarborough. Or you can head down to Boggle hall, where there is the beach and a Youth hostel for drinks and ice cream. You can walk on the beach or Cleveland way to Robin Hoods bay. A short drive from the Flask is Falling Foss picnic area turn left out of the site drive about 1.5 miles towards Rusurp and take the 1st left turn off after further mile A little further is Ruswarp is a place where you can hire boats and row to Slights up the River Esk.
