Interaction with guests
We will welcome you on arrival and show you around the cottage. After that you are welcome to come over to the house if you have any questions or would like to borrow something you have forgotten, but otherwise we will not disturb you and will leave you to enjoy your holiday in peace. At the weekends we may be around if we are working in our garden but we will not come into the cottage garden. We welcome guests to use the whole garden and walk around the fields. Children are welcome to run around the house and garden, but parents of young children must supervise them near the pond.

Pickle Cottage is excellent. The property is exactly as described. Warmly received by Guy on arrival and given a quick tour. It was cold and wet outside (mid-Feb) but warm and dry inside with underfloor heating and a wood burning stove available.

About the neighbourhood
Tenterden is a picturesque market town with a tree lined high streets boasting many coffee shops, restaurants and antique shops as well as clothing stores. Tenterden is known for its folk festival in October. Pickle Cottage is located in a quiet location down a small (sometimes bumpy) farm track. It is situated within the garden of Haynes Farm, a converted barn and oast house. The garden contains a large pond (it is mostly fenced but small children need to be supervised.) Next door to Haynes Farm is a working farm and visitors can walk through the farm and see the sheep and cows.

Visitors to Pickle Cottage are able to use the garden and a small private deck area outside the bedroom. The Cottage looks out onto the back of the Oast House with a large picturesque pond to the left...
