A lovely spacious cottage 2 miles from Ewyas Harold on the edge of the Golden Valley, with great views over gorgeous rolling countryside towards the Welsh Border. Just perfect for a peaceful getaway, with walks galore and good food on your doorstep.

The cottage used to be a working pottery, hence its name, and there are some wonderful old features, like oak beams and exposed stone work that give it buckets of character. It's a bit of a Tardis inside too, with a good sized kitchen, bathroom (with shower over a bath), upstairs bedroom and a large sitting room.

Lovely cosy cottage for two in a wonderfull, peacefull rural location. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The cottage is well placed to explore the English/Welsh border countryside, either on foot or by car.

Airport: Bristol: 60.0 km
Railway: Abergavenny or Hereford: 20.0 km
The best way to explore the area is by car. Rowlestone is half way between Hereford and Abergavenny, just off the main A465.
Take the road signposted to Rowlestone - you will drive past a Builders Merchants on your LHS and then up a hill. Keep going for about a mile and a half, past Rowlestone Court Farm on your RHS. The Pottery is next, also on your RHS, just before the church.
