You will never be too far away from numerous places of interest including the famous Bedgebury Forest for walks, cycling and 'Go Ape', the UK's number one forest adventure. If you are interested in castles, then visit Bodiam, Sissinghurst, Scotney, Hever and Leeds castles.....all within easy reach by car. National Trust properties abound with Batemans, the home of Rudyard Kipling, author of The Jungle Book in nearby Burwash.
