Modern two bedroomed, separate accommodation with studio kitchen comprising of a combination oven, double hob, fridge and sink. There is also a kettle and toaster, cutlery etc. Youngs garden stable block is on the edge of a charming old village in East Sussex, within striking distance of Bateman's ( home of Rudyard Kipling ) and many other historic sites such as Bodiam castle, Scotney castle, and many more. The village is approximately a 10 minute walk and has 2 pubs and a small supermarket. The converted stable block at Youngs Garden offers a relaxed and welcoming environment. We have pet pigs, chickens, geese and ducks hopefully enhancing your rural experience. Guests have access to the two and a half acre garden along with use of the gas BBQ on the patio and a fire pit. Readily available but not intrusive Burwash is central to so much that East Sussex has to offer. We are only half an hour from the historic towns of Lewes, Battle and Hastings. The village of Burwash which is a five minute walk or a 1 minute drive has a small supermarket ( Open from 8.00am to 8.00pm) and 2 pubs. Please don't hesitate to ask for any information on things to see and do and additional places to eat in the area. We are 3 miles from Etchingham station which is on the London Charing Cross line to Hastings. If I here I can pick you up from the station and drop you back. Children are very welcome but there is an additional cost of £25 to use the second bedroom if the bed is being used. This does not apply to babies in a travel cot. I have both a travel cot and high chair if required. Check in is 3.00pm and check out is 11.00am. If you need more flexibility please ask and if I can accommodate I will.
