The Summit B&B is a four-bedroom 'Queenslander', with a wide inviting deck on three sides, giving panoramic views from all rooms. Situated next to an Environmental Park and surrounded by Mabi Rainforest, privacy from neighbours is assured and native wildlife abounds. The Summit B&B is situated in Atherton, on the Atherton Tablelands, approximately 1 hours drive from Cairns. It is a region of higher altitude hence a different climate to the coast. We call it naural air conditioning for a natural Wonderland.

Is a picturesque town right in the heart of Atherton shire. It is also the Tableland's major commerce centre. Most major roads crossing the Tablelands come through Atherton, making it an ideal base on the Tablelands to start your exploring. The Jazz Festival is held annually in July and attracts jazz lovers from all over Australia. Every September, the town hosts the Maize festival, with street processions and a gala ball.

The area is an ecological wonderland of delight for the traveller. Boasting modern facilities it is also able to provide an abundance of native fauna and flora, one of the most diverse regions in Australia.
