Really nice place. Modern kitchen. Own parking space. 5 - 10 minute walk to town centre where there are a few food places although a lot seem to close during the week.

very cosy, friendly cottage, clean and spacious.would recommend as a quiet getaway. local tesco on the doorstep and beach close by, good gateway to the busier lakes.

Lovely cottage, well equipped. Really nice neighbours also.
Literally the only 'problem' I could think of was no real ale pubs around, with one decent looking one now out of business (covid lockdown loss it seems, sadly) , a bar type (not for me) and a working man's club type with only 2 ales on tap, so that's more Millom's issue than the cottage.
Worth the money, well done to the owner for a proper holiday home and very helpful on the phone.

Lovely cottage, everything catered for, pity about location, definitely need transport to visit places of interest. However, one of the nicest comfiest well equipped cottages we have stayed in.

Cottage was lovely and clean, very comfortable with all equipment and facilities needed for our stay. We visited some of the areas around cottage like the zoo and chocolate factory which was great.
