This was the perfect place to enjoy family time or just alone time. The cottage is surrounded by a beautiful forest and is very private. We were delighted with the lovely interior which provided every comfort and convenience. A short walk down the road brought us to the waterfront where we enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the lake. “The Lakehouse off the Rideau” is truly a special place!

The property was as advertised, great location and perfect vacation rental. Would recommend max 6 guests.

This home was lovely and perfect for a week getaway and a family get together. It was well stocked, very clean and had many nice areas to be. The gazebo was definitely a highlight as well as the deer that visited some mornings (:
