Only disappointment was no view of water from porch. Otherwise a well equipped and comfortable stay. Master bedroom should have a queen sized bed would be nice. Would definitely return next year. Thank you so much for card and flowers! Cheers?

We returned to this property from a visit in 2020. It is very clean. The air conditioning was almost too cold - we warmed it up a little. Lots of amenities in the house including a lovely bathroom and clean washer/dryer in the basement.

We loved our stay at Redbush. The house is bright, clean and had everything we needed. We sat out on the relaxing porch most days. The neighborhood was quiet and enjoyable. We took daily walks along the river which was across the street. I feel like Andrea put a lot of thought into what her guests would need and want, and her home reflects this. We loved it so much we are planning on returning next year!

Wonderful hosts and what they have provided in the house . Very well kept home. Ideal location to the water. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to relax

A lovely, very clean cottage that has been thoughtfully set up in an ideal location near the water.

Overall great value for our 4 week stay! Place was relatively clean upon arrival - but if you have any pet allergies let them know as there was pet hair on the couch. Loved the relative quiet, full HVAC, in-basement laundry. In-town location means you can walk to the dock, beach, playground & up a few blocks to the strip mall for groceries & take-out. What to bring from home: A sharp straight-edge (e.g. chef's) 8" knife. There is one good serrated knife but the rest of the knives are dull or small. Booster seat/Potty seat/step stools etc. - nothing is provided for babies/toddlers. I spied a high chair in the basement; too small for our child to try out. Be aware that the electric stove is a (cheap?) model that tends to get red-hot without warning, even on lower settings. It does take getting used to - my husband always felt he had to watch the stove full-time lest the food burn or boil over. So don't expect you can cook a gourmet meal. The kitchen floor is a hard stone - kid slipped and fell once. Combined with some small things like how the curtain rods are hung (the patio one fell on me once) and the shape of the bathroom vanity (toddler bonked their nose on the edge) - I would say just ask the hosts in advance re: how to make the space safer if you have little ones. My solo 2.5-year-old did okay but I can imagine it being a bit more hassle with multiple children, especially if any are under 2yrs. Our toddler did manage to lock us out of the bathroom door once - look in the cutlery tray for the skewer we fashioned into a flat edge to twist the look open from the outside! The listing details say there is no wi-fi; but in fact there is reasonable wifi which generally worked fine for everything including video streaming and calls. Also be aware there are rather prickly red bushes abutting the front fence. They help provide privacy but you may find that you have to do some trimming so as not to get stabbed on the way in/out. Still, overall great value for a 4week+ stay and the host was always immediately available by phone or text when necessary.

Super location near loads of parks and the waterfront. Parks all the way to Cornwall all along the river. Andrea was very helpful and when the dishwasher broke, she sent a plumber the very next day. House is very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed going to the waterfront and watching the ships go by. Too bad we couldn't try the great area golf courses due to Covid...

Excellent place to stay if you are in the Morrisburg area. Located near the water front, its a beautiful place for an evening stroll. Spotless and has all the amenities a family could need. Andrea is very prompt in answering inquiries. We will stay again!

Very well kept newer home. All the comforts that you are looking for. Fast Wifi for internet access, and satellite tv for rainy days. Everything you need to relax and enjoy a quick getaway or longer. Located so close to the water you and feel the large ships go by in the river. Would be a perfect spot for someone looking to launch their boat and have a place to relax after a day out on the water. Always a pleasure to stay there. We will be back for sure, again and again.
