Living room with comfortable seating for eight surounding the cosy wood burner, shelving unit with a selection of books, DVDs and games. From an entertainment perspective; a flat screen smart LCD TV with freeview, DVD player and Netflix (subject to guest subscription) Open plan kitchen diner has shaker kitchen units with a wooden work surface. Plenty of crockery and utensils, washing machine, dishwasher, Neff electric hob and oven, fridge freezer, microwave and toaster. For music lovers, a DAB radio - for wine lovers, a wine rack - and a large table, extendable to eight, makes a fantastic space for entertaining, with bifold doors opening onto the terrace and southerly views over the rooftops. FIRST FLOOR A bespoke open plan white circular staircase presides over the diner leading upstairs. • Bedroom three - Twin zip and link beds (Request for superking) bedside table, wardrobe, chest of drawers, mirror and chair. Stunning views of over Braunton from the glass window in the apex, accessible from the gallery. • Master Bedroom - Double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers with mirror and chair. The velux balcony enables you to step out and enjoy the views of Braunton to their full potential. The family bathroom has a bath and separate shower with dual soaker, WC, wash basin with mirror and shaver point. OUTSIDE SPACE Bifold doors lead onto the slate terrace, enclosed with a glass wall, large outdoor table and chairs. Steps take you down to the wrap around sloped garden, fully enclosed with mature shrubs, plum and pear trees, and mainly laid to lawn. Decked area adjacent to the lawn ensures you fully enjoy chasing those final rays at the end of another amazing day. Coal Weber BBQ spells out relaxed evenings enjoying the night time view and twinkling lights of Appledore and Instow. PROPERTY NOTES: • Driveway parking for 3 cars • Please note that 'Rooftops' is accessed by a narrow lane which is suitable for medium sized cars or large cars with very competent drivers. Rooftops, Braunton - wonderful holiday accommodation
Wonderfully clean and equipped house for the family to get together (dogs included), large social areas inside and outside. Rooms are all lovely in decor and comfortable. Liz & Bill were very helpful (via WhatsApp) during our stay. Rooftops is in a great location, views to Appledore and walking distance to the shops. We mainly drove to Braunton Burrows & Saunton Sands for the dog walks as the beach is dog friendly all year round. Great location for sightseeing south or north of Braunton. Two out of three cars managed the driveway fine, the larger car was a bit tight but once the drivers got used to it, they managed fine, just need to take a wider angle to line up straight. Probably not suitable for low bumper cars due to the bump at the top. The only thing we noticed the circular chair was a bit uncomfortable not sure if is meant to tilt or if is broken. Or if it was something we were not used to. The dining chairs inside and outside could do with some seat cushions but we did use the many choices of cushions from the sofas.

Perfect family holiday home
Rooftops is an amazingly well presented home, offering comfort and convenience for everyone. The kitchen has everything in it that you would at home - loved the Dualit Kettle and toaster! The bifold doors opening onto the patio make outside eating so easy - the deck becomes just an extension of the kitchen/diner. The upstairs bathroom has a shower and separate bath, which is deep and comfortable - always loads of hot water! The drive is fine if you approach it dead straight - have someone see you down if you are worried (we were in a BMW X3). Lots of room for parking and turning next to the house. The house keepers do a brilliant job in keeping it sparkly clean - thank you, one of the best rentals we’ve stayed in for a long while!

Very comfortable
Rooftops is a very comfortable house and very well situated for all holiday needs, however the approach access is challenging in the extreme, and judging from previous comments in the visitors book we weren't the only ones to scratch our car. There are only inches on each side as you drive down. Thank you for the wine some milk in the fridge would be useful as well. We enjoyed our holiday but certainly didn't think it was as good as it's sold.

We do point out that the driveway is narrow and to exercise caution with your approach. Service providers with 4x4's visit regularly with no problems, however if not competent there is road side parking available nearby.

Great staycation location!
My family and I spent 7 days here a couple of weeks back and had a lovely time. The apartment although not easy to find was absolutely gorgeous. Very homely and cosy - perfect for families. There were 6 adults (including myself) and one 9 month old who all had an amazing holiday, although the glorious weather probably helped I would not say no to this holiday home even in terrible weather. The holiday home is around a 5 minute walk from Braunton town so is within easy walking distance; this will save you taking your car out from the very narrow driveway if you’re just going in to town. There were 4 bedrooms (so plenty of space) and two upstairs of which had amazing views looking out. There were 2 bathrooms both fitted with rainfall type showers which again was amazing. There was a lovely suntrap of a balcony overlooking the rather large garden where we spent some time. The only thing I would stress is to be very careful when going down the driveway as it is very narrow but the owners do explain this to everyone before you stay here. Just so you get an idea of commodities there’s plenty of places to eat in town but also a co-op food store in town and a Tesco just a 5 minute drive away so there’s plenty of places to get supplies from as and when you need them. For most things you will need to drive out of Braunton but there’s some lovely towns nearby. Overall the apartment was amazing and we all had a lovely time - it’s a shame that the hot tub wasn’t available in the summer as that would have been a nice little extra but I can’t really fault the experience of our family staycation. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic
This house is absolutely gorgeous and in a fantastic location in the centre of Braunton. Beautifully presented and well cared for. It was such a social space. Cosy and comfortable but with plenty of space. Liz & Bill were so helpful and welcoming, especially with the children. Thank you for a delightful stay. We will definitely be back!
