Welcome to Chestnut Falls Chestnut Falls is a luxury mountain cabin in a private wooded setting just 4 miles from the slopes. With finishes like tongue-and-groove ceilings, log beds, and granite countertops, this home fuses upscale adornments with mountain living. The living room and master bedroom TV have a Smart Blu-Ray Player with streaming apps, cable service, and a DVD player. The twin bedroom also has access to streaming apps. Located in the remote Chestnut Falls subdivision, this cabin is about a mile from the Buckeye Recreation Center, which offers indoor and outdoor tennis, an outdoor mountain-style playground, a ball field, walking, and hiking trails along Buckeye Lake. Just visit the recreation center to rent boats and pick up your paddles and life jackets. The lake also offers a fire pit area and BBQ facilities such as picnic tables and grills. Beech Mountain Ski Resort is located 4.5 miles of curvy mountain roads from the property, a 15-minute drive. Important Information - The driveway is paved, which greatly improves access. However, the town of Beech Mountain does not maintain the road to the property. Renters should prepare for driving in snow. 4WD and tire chains are necessary if accessing the property during winter weather. Please note: There are two cameras at the property to document package delivery and monitor the trash cans for bear activity. They do not face the house where they can see inside. MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YRS OF AGE TO BOOK CANCELLATION POLICY: You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. But you may recover the entire amount if travel insurance was purchased and the reason for the cancellation was covered. House Rules: - Must be at least 25yrs of age to book - Self Check-In with a unique door code or lockbox - Must Agree to Carolina Cabin Rentals Terms and Conditions (provided upon booking or request) - Strict Occupancy requirements - Minimum stays may apply and vary throughout the year - Commit to the dates before you book. Refer to Strict Cancellation Policy - Options that may be purchased after booking (not included in AirBnb Fee): Travel Insurance, Firewood at $20/day for 2 bundles per night including delivery, Early Check In at 1PM or Late - Check Out at 2PM. Please contact Carolina Cabin Rentals if you wish to include any of these in your stay. - This property is pet friendly! If you plan to bring a pet, please coordinate with Carolina Cabin Rentals. You may add your pet to the reservation for $35/day per pet after booking - Responsibility for transportation to the property is yours - Four Wheel Drive required/chains recommended during winter - Security Deposit - if you damage the home, you may be charged up to $200 - If there is more trash than will fit in the outdoor trashcans, it is your responsibility to take the extra trash to the nearest county convenience center (dumpsters)

Oasis on the mountain
What an amazing cabin in a beautiful location. Being on a mountain and away from everyday chaos was a wonderful change. The cabin provided all the necessary amenities and more. The espresso machine was a delightful bonus. We utilized the large deck with an outdoor fireplace, hot tub, and grill everyday. The rooms were tastefully decorated and had comfortable beds. It was such a peaceful and relaxing trip. The cabin is close to activities such as kayaking, tennis, hiking and restaurants. The entire family throughly enjoyed the cabin and we will book it again ssoon.

Winter Wonderland
Chestnut Falls Cabin is a winter wonderland! We feel so fortunate that we were able to stay in this particular cabin just after Christmas. This house is a home away from home, it is equipped with just about everything you could possibly need to make your stay enjoyable. Much to our surprise, the home was decorated for the holiday season, it was beautiful and so welcoming, with just the right touches! We arrived, unloaded our groceries started the crockpot with some soup and the snow began. There are no words to really describe how magical it was, to sit outside by the warmth of the outdoor fireplace, with our soup and wine and just enjoy the moment, truly magical. The next morning the roads were plowed, so we ventured out to see the local sights. This cabin is in a great location, close to skiing, restaurants, wineries, etc. Yet, it’s remote enough that it is quiet, no traffic, and a great place to take a nice walk./hike, depending on your energy. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, also beautifully decorated, a Master bedroom w/bath on the main floor , and 2 bedrooms upstairs with a shared bath. The beds are very comfortable, bedding and towels are provided. Plenty of seating around the beautiful dining table, as well as, the living room. The home was also very clean. The satellite and wifi work great too, for those that just need to stay in touch…. We are in the process now of firming up dates for a return visit this summer. I can only imagine how beautiful it will be! We would highly recommend this cabin for truly magical getaway experience.

Hidden getaway in the mountains of NC
Chestnut Falls Cabin is truly a hidden gem in the mountains of North Carolina!! The personal touches made you feel right home while at the same time providing the perfect getaway. Tucked in on a private road on Beech Mountain it gives you the feeling that you are alone on your own private mountain but still close to an endless amount of attractions. One week here was not even close to see the beauty of this area. From quaint towns like Blowing Rock or Banner Elk, amazing hiking, three ski resorts, zip lining or wine tasting, all are within 25 minute drive or closer. You dont even have to leave the cabin to enjoy your stay, it is equipped with a huge porch to enjoy the views of nature, hot tub, grill and fireplaces. Hiking trails are a 2 minute walk from the cabin. The waterfall pictured is just a short walk away. We are extremely happy with our stay and will definitely be returning again. Thanks for the amazing memories!
