Our charming farmhouse, enhanced with numerous amenities, is situated on a very panoramic hill top. It is strategically located to visit the main tourist destinations of Tuscany and Umbria and the regions of Chianti and Brunello wines. In about 30 minutes, you can reach Siena downtown and sit in a café of one of the most celebrated Italian squares. Florence downtown is at 30 minute drive plus 35 minutes by train without parking problems. More than 10 restaurants of any kind are located within a 10 minutes drive. The renowned spa of Rapolano, with its pools and beauty treatments, is just 15 km away. The unit consists of: • 1 bedroom with double bed, • 1 bedroom with joinable twin beds having space for an extra bed, • 2 bathrooms with shower and bidet, • 1 large living room with sofa bed for two and space for a foldable bed. In the living room there is also a table for 10 people, armchairs, satellite TV, wall safe and a well equipped kitchenette with a 4 burner stove and various electrical appliances including dishwasher and combined oven (microwave and grill). Near the entry to the apartment, in the adjacent olive garden where the swimming pool is located, there is a private gazebo with a table and chairs for open-air dining and relaxing. The price all included: taxes (tourist tax comprised), cots, final cleaning, weekly change of linen for bed, bath and kitchen. Free use of Wi-Fi, of mountain bikes, of barbeque including fire wood, of electricity, of gas (not for the heating), of swimming pool, of covered parking, of satellite TV and of wall safe.

Interaction with guests: We, the proprietors, live inside the farmhouse in a villa. The construction of the villa began in 1520 by our ancestors. We are always available to provide information about the history of our family and of the nearby cites as well as about restaurants, Italian fashion outlets, wineries and tourist attractions. Our intent is to provide a family atmosphere that is also child friendly. In the apartment, you will find Notes containing information about daily tours by your car or bike, restaurants, fashion outlets, wine cellars, SPA, horse riding, go-cart, quad, hot air ballooning, etc.

Welcoming, peaceful location in Tuscan hills
This 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment was detached from other buildings, so quiet and also roomy for two couples. Very clean with access to a washing machine for a small fee. Our hosts were very welcoming and ready to help with any questions. They provide a very complete handbook with information about premises and nearby sightseeing, which you can access online ahead of time. Being able to purchase 4 Euro bottles of wine there is a plus too! It was a bit chilly in April and the stone walls held onto the coolness, but the place warmed up readily when we turned on the heat for our final night (extra charge for heat). We enjoyed walking the scenic, surrounding lanes, but there are no amenities in walking distance. Rapale is a town of about 20 homes only. The drive to the main road/restaurants is about 10 minutes or so. Conveniently located to many Tuscan highlights, like Siena and San Gimignano. We would gladly stay here again, if we ever have a chance to return to the area.

The Farmhouse is located at the small village RAPALE. On the GPS, set only 52021 RAPALE Arezzo or Latitude 43. 3738 N – Longitude 11.5929 E. Do not specify the street name since other near sites have streets with the same name. Arrived in RAPALE, ring the bell at the first building on your right (number 8) past the small square at the inlet of the village.
